Hello Giraffe, are you ready to answer some of our questions?
Mr Giraffe
11:10
Hi Mr Brown. Yes, I'm ready!
Mr Brown
11:11
Hi Mr Giraffe, Luca from 4B here. How did you learn how to do back flips?
Mr Giraffe
11:12
Hi Luca. I hope you're having a good day. It was a really difficult thing to learn and it took a lot of hard work. I had a great teacher who talked me through it step by step. Can you do back flips?
Mr Brown
11:12
Yes I can do backflips.
11:13
Another question from Gracie: Why were you and your friends at the swimming pool? Where did you come from?
Mr Giraffe
11:13
Brilliant!
11:14
Hello Gracie. My friends and I like spending time at our local swimming pool. We usually walk there, but sometimes take the bus. The bus can be a bit of a squeeze though!
Mr Brown
11:15
Where do you all come from?
Mr Giraffe
11:15
My parents are from Kenya, but I was born in France. Bonjour to you all!
Mr Brown
11:16
Lexie asks: did you escape from the zoo?
Mr Giraffe
11:17
Hi Lexie. Escape! No, no, no. We are all free to wander as we please. My friends and I live in a giant park not far from the swimming pool.
Mr Brown
11:18
Thank you for your time Mr Giraffe. We are hopefully going to speak to the swimming pool owner soon - you better get out of here before he or she arrives!!!! Thanks again, goodbye.
Mr Giraffe
11:18
Do you all live in Norwich?
Mr Brown
11:18
Yes we are from Norwich.
Mr Giraffe
11:19
Oh yes, I better had! It has been great to talk to you all. Have a great day!
Mr Splash (pool owner)
11:19
Good morning to you all. I'm looking for a giraffe - have you seen one?
Mr Brown
11:20
No we haven't seen any giraffes around here....
Thank you for joining us. Amia would like to ask you what time the events took place?
Jack suggests you need to employ some guards!
11:21
Hannah: Were you scared when you heard the giraffe's footsteps in your pool?
Mr Splash (pool owner)
11:21
That's a shame. I was sure there was one around here somewhere. Hello Amia. They all started arriving at about 8:30 in the morning, but the display actually started at about lunchtime.
Yes Jack, I do need some guards. I think they have been sleeping on the job!
Mr Brown
11:22
Samuel asks did they break anything or leave a mess?
Emily would like to know if you work alone or do you have colleagues?
Mr Splash (pool owner)
11:22
I was scared at first Hannah, but then I saw the beautiful giraffes and watched the amazing display and that all vanished.
Hi Sam. No nothing was broken, but there was a funny smell!
Mr Brown
11:23
Thanks Mr Splash!
Mr Splash (pool owner)
11:23
There are five of us here at the pool Emily. We're always looking for new staff though. Are you interested in working here?
Mr Brown
11:23
We were hoping to talk to a witness, do you know if anyone saw?
Miss I Witness
11:24
Hello. Mr Splash said that you might have some questions for me?
Mr Brown
11:25
Hi Miss I Witness, did you get any pictures?
11:26
Amia asked if you were in the pool area or you saw the giraffes on the street?
Miss I Witness
11:26
I couldn't fit my camera in my swimming costume, so I didn't get any pictures I'm afraid.
Mr Brown
11:26
It must have been very odd to see a group of giraffes entering a swimming pool, can you briefly describe your reaction?
We know you are in a rush!
Miss I Witness
11:27
Hello Amia. I heard a noise while I was in the changing rooms. When I peered in to the pool I saw loads of giraffes in the pool! It took my breathe away. I've never seen anything like it before and none of my friends believed me. You believe me don't you?
Mr Brown
11:27
Yes of course we do, we saw video proof!!!!
Miss I Witness
11:28
Yes, I've got to go I'm afraid. I hope you all have a good rest of your day. Bye!
Mr Brown
11:28
We have to leave now, thank you for your time and answering our questions!
