Seems like they're open to moving a number of players. Capela makes some sense for the Mavs because they badly need rebounding and interior D. I don't think that deal happens though, because Bertans' contract is viewed very negatively.

The Beal rumors really surprised me because it meant they'd have to move either Holiday or Middleton for salary-matching reasons. Didn't see that one as legitimate, but you never know. It's been fairly quiet rumors-wise though.

I highly doubt Middleton will be going anywhere unless Giannis for some reason wants him gone.

Please explain. Can draft choices be announced as traded during the draft? Example if Scoot has been traded how soon could it be announced?

Officially announced, yes, it can technically happen. Usually trades take at least a day or more to be announced though to work out the details.

Too early to grade anything, but I definitely like the moves they've made thus far. A lot more flexibility shedding that huge no-trade clause.
