It hasn't really been this front office's M.O. to seek out big deals, especially during the season. The KCP signing during the 2024 offseason was the biggest roster change I remember them making in years.

Given that context, and the fact that they basically haven't been healthy all season, it's hard for me to imagine them taking a huge swing by Feb. 6. Like with the Cavs, I could see them being more aggressive in the summer after they get another look at this team in the postseason, hopefully with Banchero and Wagner both healthy and having taken strides since last spring.

Do the Lakers make anymore moves?

Could see them maybe trading a couple second-round picks for Valanciunas if the Wizards are willing to take Vincent's contract, but that's no sure thing. Any deal that uses their tradable first-rounders would have to involve more of an impact player. Wouldn't entirely rule it out, but not sure that trade will be out there for them this season.

Billy Donovan- Fired after this year? Seems like the Bulls need to burn it to the ground and start over. Thoughts? Thanks

I wouldn't count on a coaching change. When an underachieving team likes the players it has or isn't in position to change the roster much, the coach is usually the fall guy, but the Bulls openly want to make roster changes, with Vucevic's and LaVine's days in Chicago seemingly numbered. I expect they'll want to see what Donovan can do with a new group rather than replacing him at the same time they overhaul the roster.

Why are the spurs not taking advantage of wemby in the paint? Seems like cp3 hasn’t thrown him a single lob off a pick and roll since that preseason game they got Mo Wagner in no man’s land. Also, shouldn’t wemby be able to successfully spin-move his way around defenders down in the post? Maybe use a self pass through the backboard to get closer? Draw some dbl teams?? All these mid range fadeaways he’s taking are bad shots. I don’t mind the 3’s, but why are there no plays to get him a dunk. Down the stretch wemby seems unconfident because all he does is shoot, and the spurs have been very bad in clutch games so far.

Not saying your points are valid, but they feel a little nitpicky for a second-year player who's averaging 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 blocks per game while his head coach is recovering from a stroke. There's always room for improvement and game-plan adjustments, but give Wemby some time -- he just turned 21 and has barely played 100 NBA games. He and the Spurs are ahead of where they were supposed to be by this point and will only get better.
Thanks for the questions today, guys. Trade deadline is just three weeks away! We'll do this again next Thursday. Have a great week.
