When will Ben Simmons be traded?
Luke Adams
9:30
I know that Daryl Morey has said he's willing to hold onto Simmons beyond the trade deadline. There's also been speculation/rumors that Simmons will eventually be dealt to Nets in offseason for Harden. I don't buy it. i can't see Simmons agreeing to suit up if he hasn't already, so why have to odd situation linger when you're a contender? The East is wide open. If Embiid is healthy for the playoffs -- always a big IF -- why wouldn't you go all in and get another quality piece or two that could get you to the Finals? Unless Embiid is injured prior to the deadline, I see Morey taking the best package available.

How can the Lakers get Jerami Grant and Myles Turner?
Luke Adams
9:34
No one is going to take on Westbrook's salary, especially since he has a player option. They'll have to package Horton-Tucker and Nunn to even get without the ballpark of matches salaries for Grant (20 mill) or Turner (18 mill). Probably throw in a first-rounder as well. The key will be how much other execs value Horton Tucker. If he's as a player who can develop into an All Star or something close to it, they might be able to pull that kind of trade off. Otherwise, they're stuck with what they have.

Why won't the Warriors sign a center? (I get a lot of these)
Luke Adams

They drafted one last year, he just hasn't been healthy. There's still enough time to get Wiseman back and into some sort of rhythm prior to the playoffs. They could add a veteran big, either via or the buyout market, if they deem it necessary. But they're doing quite well without a true center in the current rotation.

Who are the best buyout market candidates?
Luke Adams
9:40
Hard to say unless the trade deadline passes. Team execs are always hopeful of dealing players that they don't plan to keep beyond the deadline and those vets on non-contenders usually work out an amicable buyout after the deadline. Case in point would be Drummond and the Cavs last season. Example -- if the Spurs can't move Thad Young's contract, they'll undoubtedly work out an buyout agreement and let him hook onto a contender.

Should the Sixers trade Simmons and Harris for Fox, Hield, and Barnes?
Luke Adams
9:43
While there's talk that Fox isn't untouchable anymore, I just don't see the Kings giving up on him that quickly. A trade that includes Hield and Barnes wouldn't yield Morey the All-Star player that he covets but with other assets thrown in (lottery pick?) and my speculation he'll take the best offer. Those 2 players would certainly give the Sixers a formidable rotation at the wing spots. Either Harris or Barnes could slide to the power forward spot when paired up.
