Dallas isn't cutting me... right?

Very curious to see what happens there. I expect the Mavs will try to make a trade to open up the 15th spot for you. If they can't make a deal, I wonder if you get cut now and then end re-signing later in the season, maybe in Dec/Jan/Feb when it's easier to make a trade and a spot opens up. Most of the Mavs' other back-of-the-roster players are either too good or too expensive to waive.

Soooo...... After 3 Pre Season games the Bulls are down 4 C's. I said that passing on a young C in the draft wasn't very smart and I think that even more now. I was all for the Bulls signing either Collins or keeping Smith was smart but not both. I thought for sure the Bulls would have traded Smith and Okoro by now for some young C help. Awaka looked interesting but now he's hurt also. At the time I asked you and you said the Bulls had 3 C's. You still believe that sir? Thanks Luke

The injuries are definitely a problem in the short term. I don't think the situation is urgent enough that the front office needs to make a trade or anything, but I'm curious to see whether Orlando Robinson, who is in camp on an Exhibit 10 deal, will end up making the opening night roster. The Bulls have the 15th spot open and he looked pretty good in his first preseason appearance the other day.

good afternoon! How do u feel about the pistons? They don't have a 2nd option still and have restricted themselves in my opinion through their contract extensions and deals, they have floor spacers but I feel like this is mavs 2020,2021 all over again. No ball handling outside of ebuka (Brunson at that time) and Cade (Luka). Idk but I expect them as .500 type of team with east being as it is. What's ur opinion/take on what they should've done and need to?

I like them more than you do and I feel like they still have plenty of roster/cap flexibility to keep making moves going forward, since the Duren and Thompson contracts both came in well below the max. But I agree that it was a little surprising not to see them do more to add secondary ball-handling this summer. Will be interesting to see whether Ausar can take step forward as a play-maker.

I view the Pistons as a solid 45-to-50-win team that's a good candidate, but not a lock, for a top-six spot in the East.

Are we talking league-wide here? If so, I've been really impressed by what I've seen from Aday Mara. He was up and down in Summer League but he's been awesome this fall. I didn't expect him to play much this season for OKC but he's making a case for it.

Leonard Miller in Chicago is another interesting name. He finished strong last season and appears to be ahead of some former lottery picks (Noa Essengue, Patrick Williams) on the Bulls' forward depth chart heading into the season. He's been awesome in the preseason.

Thanks to everyone who submitted questions today. Lots I couldn't get to. Those of you who are Front Office members will have a chance to get your questions into Arthur during tomorrow's chat for subscribers.

Otherwise, I'll talk to you next Wednesday afternoon during the first week of the regular season(!).
