If the league expanded and added 2 new teams, do you think the product would dilute or do you think it would just spread the top end talent a bit further and make super teams harder to form? It seems like there are enough nba level players where adding 30 more plus 10 days or 2 ways wouldn't actually add many if any players worse than the bottom of the current NBA level but it also wouldn't add any new top 150 players so only the top end talent level would dilute.

There would be some minor dilution, but IMO not enough to meaningfully impact the level of play we'd see from game to game. I think it's the right move.

At that point, the Lakers, Clippers, Rockets, Magic, and Knicks were the five without the ability to carry 15 into the season. The Warriors have since joined that group.

Seems like a lot of players are starting the season injured. I know these are world class athletes, but the serious injuries are increasing. But a lot of guys are starting the season recovering from surgeries or injuries and are missing preseason or the start of the season. Your thoughts - is the season too long?

It's a little long for my liking -- knocking 10-12 games off feels like the sweet spot, though it's hard to imagine it ever happening due to the lost money.

Still, while reducing the number of games and back-to-backs might help a little, it's also just a sport that's very strenuous on the body and injuries are unavoidable, no matter how many off days guys get.
