I believe it was a condition of Paul Allen's will that the Blazers have to be sold eventually. It might take a few years as that estate battle plays out, but it'll happen sooner or later.

Boy, a Rockets team that featured Wembanyama, Jalen Green, and Jabari Smith would be pretty fun. Could be reminiscent of the KD/Harden/Westbrook Thunder. They'd probably need a couple years to figure things out, but by year three, sure.

Finally getting his chance with the Hornets.  Putting up great Numbers.  He started off slow at Kentucky so not surprising that he is blooming in his 3rd year in Charlotte.  Just needed a head coach that believed in him.

Blazers honestly look surprisingly put together. Everyone is collaborating effortlessly. With the Lakers an ineffectual train wreck, the Clippers on injury watch every second of the season, the Jazz rebuilding, and the Wolves looking disorganized, do they have a legit shot at being in the top six?

A shot, yeah. Their lack of reliable depth worries me (four of their starters are averaging at least 36.5 MPG) and I think some of these teams off to slow starts (Denver, Minnesota, etc.) will figure things out. But the Blazers should comfortably be a play-in team, at least.

I don't mind Zubac in the role he plays for them. The Clippers have so much depth that maybe they consider a consolidation trade like that at some point, and Turner would provide a rim-protecting element they don't really have yet, but there's no urgency to make that sort of move yet.
Zubac also can't be dealt before Dec. 28 due to the extension he signed in the summer, so the Clippers have some time to assess their roster before considering any deal that involves him.

Rui Hachimura for 6MOY? He's been a real spark for the Wizards, and I have to think he'll get better given how much shooting improvement he's shown thus far.

Hachimura has been solid, but there are a lot of really good players coming off the bench right now for teams. Not sure how long guys like Kawhi Leonard, Christian Wood, Bennedict Mathurin, Keegan Murray, and Jordan Poole will stick with the reserves, but as long as they're coming off the bench, the Sixth Man race is gonna be pretty competitive.

Will he even be on a team next season? It always looked like a disaster even before he played for the Lakers, but it’s still a little shocking how far he’s fallen. The way teams are just daring him to shoot from anywhere is…I’ve never seen anything like it for someone who used to be really good, even if very flawed.

There's still definitely a role for him on certain teams and with certain players around him. The Lakers just aren't that team and don't have those players.

Raptors require a backup SG - Alec Burks anyone.  A backup PG is also required. Banton is Point Forward at best without defensive skills!  Who do Raptors trade to build the bench

Off the top of my head, I could see them targeting a point guard like T.J. McConnell or old friend Cory Joseph. McConnell would be a tougher sell due to his longer-term contract, but if you're packaging a draft pick with a player like Khem Birch, who also has a multiyear deal, it could work.
