Brooklyn, Charlotte, Milwaukee, Dallas, and Washington all have roster logjams to some extent. They may end up just waiving guys, but I bet at least some of them will try to make trades.

If Russ can wait till Dec 15, and the rockets can clear someone like Tate off the books…think they might be a good candidate for Russ? Seems like if Reed winds up being the 5th starter, he could be in position to run the second unit there

Worth noting that Tate has trade veto rights, so no guarantee he'll approve a trade. But yeah, Houston is an interesting idea for Westbrook, given his history both with the team and with Durant (to be fair, you could debate whether or not that history works in his favor).

There have been in the past. Don't believe there are now -- no Hoops Rumors guys anyway. I've always thought it would make sense to have more cross-over, since the style is somewhat similar across all the sites, but keeping up to date on all the teams and players in one sport is challenging enough.

Why is everyone sleeping on the mavs? best frontcourt in the nba, and the guard play will hold up till kyrie is back. Over or under 44.5 wins?

I'd say the skepticism is due to a lack of faith in D-Lo and the guards, as well as health concerns in the frontcourt (Gafford is currently injured, while AD and Lively haven't been paragons of health in the past).

If Russell plays well and they stay relatively healthy, they're definitely intriguing, but I have enough reservations that I'd feel pretty nervous betting on that over.

Like the Mavs, the Pelicans are another team where I actually think they have a lot of upside if they can avoid the injury bug. But like the Mavs, those health concerns would make me wary of being too bullish on them. I'll put them at 31 wins.
