Even if you could make the case from a basketball perspective, it's very hard to imagine a Wolves team already rumored to have "interpersonal" issues trading away one of Karl-Anthony Towns' best friends to bring in Kyrie Irving. I'm not sure the Nets would love the idea either -- at least with Irving, if the off-court drama quiets down, he raises your ceiling as a title contender. Russell probably lowers it.

Why did the Warriors draft Wiseman? It isn’t like he has been much of a surprise and even on draft day experts said his skill set wasn’t a fit for the Warriors’ system

The thinking at the time was that Edwards, Wiseman, and Ball were in their own tier at the top, and it didn't make sense for the Warriors to bring Ball in when they already had arguably the league's best backcourt. In retrospect, it would've been a ton of fun to see what Ball could do alongside Curry, Thompson, and Poole, but who knows if he would've developed into the same type of player without getting the chance to run the show right away like he's had in Charlotte.

For what it's worth, the rest of the top 10 from the 2020 draft class hasn't done much.

When am i getting traded?

I suppose it could still happen this season, but it feels less likely than it has in recent years. There's no reason you can't be a fit on the current roster, and the Hawks are playing well even though you've slumped to start the season. Sure, if there's an opportunity to acquire a star two-way wing, you're probably headlining the Hawks' offer, but those guys don't become available too often.

What moves can the Kings make to climb the ladder in the West?
Luke Adams

The defense is still an issue in Sacramento, which may just always be the case as long as Fox and Sabonis are their two stars. But if they can find one more solid defensive wing using Richaun Holmes' contract and a draft pick, that'd be something worth pursuing.

What else does Isiah Thomas have to do to get a NBA contract? He actually did decent in Charlotte last year.

His defensive shortcomings make him the kind of player who will get attacked repeatedly via switches, especially in the postseason. But he's good enough offensively that he can still provide some value off the bench during the regular season. Hopefully he'll at least get a shot on a 10-day contract in the new year.
