It's hard to find a perfect fit for Ingram. Charlotte is probably one of the better ones, especially if they could trade for him on his expiring deal without giving up real draft compensation. Looking at their roster, a Grant Williams/Josh Green/Nick Richards package would be legal and would make sense for a New Orleans team that could use more depth and a center like Richards. The Pelicans would probably push for a first-rounder, but the draft-pick cost shouldn't be too high.

who do you think first head coach who will be fired?

If I had to pick one, probably either Chauncey Billups or Willie Green. The Pelicans' struggles aren't Green's fault, but he'd be a convenient fall guy. Billups seems very unlikely to be coaching Portland beyond this season, but maybe he lasts until the spring.

What do you think the Nets could get for a Schroder/Finney-Smith package?

Both quality trade chips, but they're probably just role players on a contending team, and players on expiring contracts don't usually warrant huge returns (Finney-Smith technically has one more year, but it's a player option). If they can get a lightly protected first-round pick and matching expiring salary for the two of them, they'd be doing pretty well.
Could see the Nets targeting first-rounders down the road since they already control a bunch of '25 picks.

Don't know if you ever heard further on this, but can exhibit 10 players be traded during the 60 days of staying with the team? I remember you saying you were looking into this

My understanding based on some conversations with G League people is that they can be traded and their Exhibit 10 bonus would be paid by the NBA team that initially signed the player (even if he reaches the 60-day mark with a new organization).

Do the Kings have enough size up front to compete with the other top contenders? They seem small with Murray at the 4.

What are the chances Sacramento trades Keegan Murray before the trade deadlines?

I'm very curious to see what the Kings do this season with Murray. They've been adamant for years that they won't move him, betting that he can become the kind of two-way, three-and-D star they need alongside guys like Fox and Sabonis (and now DeRozan). But this has been his worst season yet so far, and I wouldn't be shocked if there's some pressure from the ownership level to do everything they can to make it back to the playoffs this season after missing out last year.

I still think they'll try hard to keep him out of any deal, but IMO the odds of him actually being moved are higher this season than they've ever been in the past.

Curious with the Rockets as have seen his name mentioned in articles. Is Jalen Green a trade possibility at the deadline perhaps. He was last season too but is still with the team. Also curious on future for Cam Whitmore. Loved watching him last season. Is he still a future part for the Rockets. I know has struggled what little he got to start. Also either way the team is playing hard to play him. Not sure if still with team or down with Vipers

Jalen Green almost certainly won't be traded this season. The poison pill provision makes it too complicated. But I think he's someone to watch starting in the summer of 2025. As we discussed in an article yesterday, the Rockets still need a reliable No. 1 option on offense, and if they lose confidence that Green can become that player, he's the most logical candidate to be included in a trade for someone who can, since he'll have a high cap number and doesn't give the team as much on defense as the other young guys (Thompson, Eason, etc.) do.

As for Whitmore, I think he's theoretically still in the plans, but the roster is so deep right now that there's just not a lot of room for him in the rotation -- same deal for Sheppard.
