How would you gauge the possibility of KD and LbJ joining Steph Curry in a Warriors uni next season?

Unless you're getting, like, 5,000-to-1 odds, I wouldn't bet on it. Even then, there are probably better uses for that dollar.

What are some good ideas to fix all star weekend? A 1v1 tourney? HORSE contest? Thanks for opinions.

Re ASG - The league should do a 1 on 1 or a 2 on 2 tournament.  Maybe even 3 v 3.  Fans would love to see it and the players would go a little bit harder.

For All Star, how about the same format as the rising stars? 4 teams play it out tourney style upto 33 pts, and the winner gets cash donation to their nonprofit org of choice, or something like that? If 8 players per team we get less snubs too

Something like HORSE would be fun in theory because you're allowing players to show off their skills without any real injury risk (this is why the three-point contest is always reliably entertaining and gets actual stars participating). The risk would be that it turns into what the dunk contest sometimes does, where too many misses suck the momentum out of it. But I think it's a better bet than something like a 1-on-1 or 2-on-2, which would be riskier for player health.

I don't hate the idea of emulating the Rising Stars format and playing short games -- there's a better chance of them being more competitive when you don't have to be out there for 48 minutes.

32 All-Stars is too many though. Six All-Stars per team would probably work if you're only playing up to 25 or 30 points or something like that. I'd be reluctant to expand it to seven per team, since that would result in four extra All-Stars every year and mess with historical comparisons by making it easier to qualify.

Are the Spurs ever going to buy out Morris so we can get him onto our bench our who do you think plan B is?
Luke Adams
10:48
I'd still expect the Morris buyout to happen. We usually get a wave of them right after the trade deadline, then a smaller wave in the days leading up to March 1. Morris should be part of that second wave.
10:49
If he's not available, I don't really love any of the options out there for the Wolves. I could maybe see them bringing in a playoff-tested veteran who could provide locker room leadership and who probably wouldn't actually play much (maybe a Danny Green type?)

What's the future for Bruce Hash Brown in Toronto since he's still in Toronto?
Luke Adams
10:52
I have a hard time imagining the Raptors bringing back Brown next season, but they'll be motivated to get something for him after turning down offers at the deadline. I wonder if one of the teams with cap room this summer will give up a small asset or two to take him into their space on his team option. Spending $23MM on Brown isn't the most efficient use of cap room, but he fits on virtually any roster and might be a safer investment than committing 3-4 years to a free agent.

Will Klay Thompson's benching lead to him signing as a free agent with another team? Time to turn the Warriors over to Curry and Kuminga. Green is hurting the team with his antics.
Luke Adams

Green has actually been pretty great since returning from his suspension, but it's fair to still be wary. All it takes is for him to lose his cool for a couple seconds and he could be looking at an indefinite suspension that lasts a lot longer than the first one.

To address your initial question though... I'm still betting on Klay remaining with the Warriors. I don't think they want to lose him and I believe that he'd genuinely love to spend his whole career there. If they low-ball him and he gets word of a strong offer from a team like Orlando or Philly, things could get interesting, but a new deal with Golden State still looks like the most probable outcome to me.

Finals prediction? Celtics vs. Nuggets, with Celtics winning in 7 games?
Luke Adams
10:56
I probably know better than to bet on a healthy Paul George/Kawhi Leonard playoff run, but IF the Clippers can stay healthy, I might take them in the West -- and even in the Finals against Boston. They've looked really good, and I trust Kawhi in big games.

Sixers chances of falling out of the playoffs if Joel doesn't return?
Luke Adams
10:59
I could see them falling to 7th or 8th in the standings, certainly. I still believe they're capable of winning one of two play-in games against the likes of the Magic, Bulls, and Hawks without Embiid, but that's certainly no lock. So let's put the odds at... 30%?
Thanks for all your questions today, everyone. Enjoy the resumption of the season tonight! I, for one, am looking to have games besides the All-Star Game to talk about.
