I could see a guy like George Hill being a target if he's healthy next month. Lots of playoff experience and can help spread the floor.
TWolves Draft pick
12:38
Can the Warriors trade the Rights of the TWolves draft pick now?  Or do we have to wait until after the Lottery is determined?  The pick is Top-3 protected this year but unprotected next year. So not sure if there are League Rules in place to prevent the Warriors from trading that pick next month during the Trade deadline.
Luke Adams
12:40
The Warriors could trade it. The team they trade it to would just assume the same conditions (top-3 protected this year, unprotected next year).
Aaron

Humor me for a moment. With all of the "Celtics are up to something", could you see them making a godfather offer for Collins (ATL) and giving Smart? Perhaps including their pick in the deal and taking back Rondo to bring him back home to Boston? Seems that would fill some needs for ATL as well, and they could use that pick with some of their other expirings (Snell etc) to bring back another piece as well.
Luke Adams

Interesting idea! Collins would be a nice fit in Boston and I can't imagine the Hawks would be too opposed to moving Rondo. Smart is the sort of player whose value is very hard to pin down, but if the Hawks and Celtics view him in the same light, I could see the makings of a deal there.

Let's assume the Bucks do resign Jrue before or after the season. Let's also assume the season again ends in the 2nd round of the playoffs. After Bud gets fired, what happens next for the Bucks, according to that crystal ball of yours?
Luke Adams
12:45
Well, Giannis isn't going anywhere, and Middleton/Holiday probably wouldn't be either, given how massive their contracts would be. I think their only real option in the short term would be to make tweaks around the edges, maybe using the mid-level exception, and hope a new coach can figure out how to get them deeper into the playoffs. If that still doesn't work, something more drastic would probably be necessary.

Who should be in the market for PJ Tucker? Seems the Rockets will let him go for a 1st, is he worth that much?
Luke Adams
12:47
Not unless you're able to get off a bad multiyear contract in the process. A couple seconds seems reasonable for Tucker.
THT
12:47
Would Kuzma, THT, and Caruso be enough to get Beal from Washington?
Luke Adams
12:47
No, and it wouldn't be close.
Black Ace57
12:48
Do you think a potential Beal trade happens during the season or in the offseason?
Luke Adams
12:49
That situation is a tricky one to read. I want to believe the Wizards and Beal when they say they're committed to making it work in D.C., but we've see similar situations go south so quickly that I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him in another uniform six weeks from now.
12:50
If the Wizards keep him through the season and miss the playoffs, I don't see how they can't consider a deal this offseason.

Do you see another move by the Knicks coming soon?  Who and What?
Luke Adams
12:52
They're definitely not done. They've still got a bunch of cap room that would be wasted if they don't use it soon. I expect either another move or two similar to the Rose one (giving up a small package for a solid player who could be retained beyond this season) or potentially just accommodating a salary dump.

Find me one possible Blake Griffin trade where I'm not giving up picks, and I'll take it.
Luke Adams
12:53
Don't know if that's out there this year. Maybe in 2021/22.
GLeague Ignite
12:54
Why is tomorrow’s game so early in the Morning instead of on Prime Time?  I need to scout out Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga.
Luke Adams
12:55
Welcome to the G League schedule! They love their morning games. Fortunately I think that's the only time this season the Ignite will be playing an 11 AM game.

Would you tell us the most likely destinations for Victor Oladipo, Lonzo Ball and Kyle Lowry?
Luke Adams
12:56
I don't expect Lowry to be moved unless he wants to be. Given his history in Toronto, the Raptors will want to let him go out on his own terms.
12:58
I actually think Oladipo and Ball are probably more likely to stay put than not either, but if a trade does happen... I'll say New York for Oladipo and Chicago for Ball. The Oladipo destinations are probably limited because he wouldn't re-sign with certain teams. Ball is a bit easier to send anywhere, since he'll be an RFA.

Any realistic moves that the wolves could make to better position themselves for next year?
Luke Adams

I imagine they'd love to find a taker for Rubio, since he hasn't been a fit and he's owed $17MM+ again next year. Maybe they could find a deal with a team like the Hawks that needs PG help and has an expiring contract that could be used for matching (Snell's $12MM+). It won't be easy though.
Thanks for all the questions today, everyone! Apologies if I wasn't able to get to yours, but we'll do this again next week and every Tuesday leading up to the March 25 deadline. See you next Tuesday!
