Not out of the question. That's predicated on what the Mavs would be willing to give up -- expiring contracts?

With the acquisition of Russell and Rui, is it safe to say that the Lakers are going to punt on the cap room plan and build with these guys or what do you see them doing this summer
Dana Gauruder
11:45
They looked at it this way -- the free agent market has been watered in recent years by all these super max extensions handed out to stars. With AD and LeBron making so much, even offloading all those salaries wasn't going to bring a great free agent haul. So, better to acquire younger talent now and pieces that could help them make a late push.

Celtics made their move today by adding without trading Gallinari or Pritchard. Do you foresee another deal in the works since they were trying to package the two together?
Dana Gauruder
11:48
They did make the move for Muscala. Do they make a move for another wing or big man? If so, they've got to go for it. Pritchard doesn't have much of a role, especially when Smart's healthy, and Gallinari's contract is a nice trade piece.

2nd part bucks question, Now that they have Crowder do they try and offload George Hill, Ibaka, and maybe Grayson Allen for another option at guard?

Horst is an excellent GM. I don't know if he can get much value for those players.

Heard on the radio last night Nuggets thinking of moving for Eric Gordon, what kind of trade might that look like? And on Gordon what are the odds he’s a Rocket by tomorrow?
Dana Gauruder
11:51
Given their timeline, I don't know why the Rockets would hold onto Gordon today. It would make sense they'll take the best offer than can get for him.

How bad have the Wolves done with their moves?  Going back they traded Wiggins and a 1st for Russell then traded Russell for Conley and some seconds ... also traded believe 3 1sts (Kessler) and 3 swaps Beasley Vanderbilt etc for Gobert .. So the aggregate is Kessler Beasley Wiggins Vanderbilt 3 firsts and 3 swaps for Conley and Gobert .. looks awful no?
Dana Gauruder
11:53
Indeed. They traded a boatload of assets for Gobert and are now scrambling to justify that move. As noted in the earlier question regarding KD, new owners can push for "Win now" blockbuster moves that come back to haunt the franchise for years to come.
11:54
FYI -- Horst has been able to find a home for G. Hill -- just got sent to Pacers with a pick. Perhaps he has something else up his sleever.

Where do you see Westbrook landing?
Dana Gauruder
11:55
The Clippers make a lot of sense. He can stay in L.A.

What’s the latest on the Trailblazers?
Dana Gauruder
11:56
They are in the process of acquiring Thybulle from the Sixers. So, they have replaced Hart with two other wings (Reddish, Thybulle0.
Dejounte
11:56
What is the likelihood that Dejounte resigns with the hawks? Need more shooting around him and trae but we cant let him walk in FA after all the picks we gave up right?
Dana Gauruder
11:58
They made that move with the hope Young and Murray would force a dynamic backcourt for years to come. So far, results haven't been there. Murray still has a year left on his contract -- if the Hawks get bounced early in the postseason, I wouldn't be surprised to see them move one of those guards in a blockbuster.

Orlando Magic a stealth Bridges landing spot? They have the picks, he’s controlled for the future, and he fits super well with the current rotation
Dana Gauruder
12:01
The Magic have the pieces to do something significant. That would be a nice move if he can slot in to the SG spot.

What move do clippers make? we are falling behind
Dana Gauruder
12:01
They're trying to move Wall's contract, for certain.
Wiseman for Saddiq ?
12:02
Last thing the Warriors need is ANOTHER Guard.  Is the Team planning on Transferring to a 6-Foot-5 and Under league?  I guess Kerr doesn't care about getting out-Rebounded and pounding in the paint each night?
Dana Gauruder

Bey isn't a guard. He's a SF and has played quite a bit of PF for the Pistons.
