Do you think the bulls are 1 player away from really being a good team in the East? Trading 5 out for 5 always seemed like it would take awhile to gel without practice but they played great basketball Sunday, seems like a starting point guard could get them to battle for that 4 spot next season, what say you?

I'm not especially high on their rest-of-season outlook since throwing a guy like Vucevic into the lineup halfway through the season is a tough adjustment on the fly. But if he and LaVine get a full preseason and they can add a point guard, that team is a whole lot more interesting. Maybe not quite top-four in the East, but it should be top-six.

Kerr seems stuck between Winning now and developing James Wiseman, as his Minutes and Role has changed several times.  How about just clarify his role and let him start and play 30 Minutes per night for the rest of the year?

Steph Curry's numbers with and without James Wiseman on the floor this season are fascinating. A -7.0 net rating when they're playing together and +8.7 when it's Curry without Wiseman. That can't carry over into next season, if you want to return to contention and you're counting on Wiseman to develop into a key part of the lineup.

I agree with you -- now is the time to let Wiseman make mistakes and get him some experience, since even the Warriors' best-case scenario this season is sneaking into the playoffs.

What do you see the Sixers doing before the end of the buyout market?
Luke Adams

Still a few more days to see who shakes free -- anyone waived after April 9 won't be playoff-eligible. So I expect them to be patient until then. If no one new worth signing hits the market in the next few days, maybe they look at Ben McLemore? Morey signed him in Houston.

What path does OKC follow in 21-22: use TPEs to absorb contracts and receive picks, or use the picks, with young players like Dort, Brown and Maledon, plus either TPEs or cap space, to trade for a disgruntled star like Towns?
Luke Adams

Think it's too early for the Thunder to start cashing in their picks and young guys. Presti is the GM who drafted Durant, Westbrook, and Harden, so I imagine he trusts his ability to make good use of lottery picks and is willing to be patient waiting for those guys to develop.

Do think Bradley Beal gets traded  in off season or sign extent to the  Wizards ?
Luke Adams
12:53
For as much as Beal has talked about being loyal to D.C., the idea that he'd seek a new deal with the Wizards after a season like this seems... far-fetched. A trade has gotta be the more likely scenario.

What kind of deal do you think Iguodala would get as a free agent after this year?
Luke Adams
12:55
If he wants to go after another ring, it might just be a vet's minimum deal. But I bet there will be lower-level teams (playoff hopefuls, etc.) willing to give him a little more than though. Maybe something in the range of the room exception or taxpayer MLE ($5-6MM).

What do you think the offers on trade deadline were. Herro, Robinson, Nunn, Maxey, Thybulle just to list a few players, but who do you think they got offered if you think they got offers.

This is re: Lowry, I assume. The Heat insist they didn't offer Herro or Robinson, but I feel like Robinson must've been discussed -- he and Nunn had limited value because you'll have to pay them as free agents in a few months. There were reports out there that the Sixers were willing to make Maxey (not Thybulle) available. That would've been a good start to a package, but it sounds like they were unwilling to offer all that much in the way of additional draft compensation.

Since the magic traded their top 3 players, the players they got in return seem to have made them a better team as they have beaten the Clippers, Pelicans and took Denver *& The lakers down to the wire and they don't even have gary harris available yet. Your thoughts.

I'd be wary of reading too much into those results. There's not enough talent on the roster to say they've gotten better. But I like that they were willing to admit defeat on the current core and go in a new direction. I'm really high on Jonathan Isaac, and if they can land a top-five pick in this year's draft to go along with the Bulls' pick, they'll be in nice shape.
