Teams will never trade a player of Giannis' caliber unless he acts for it, so I understand why they didn't take this route, but it probably made sense to move him before the Lillard waive-and-stretch. He's still healthy at that point and has at least two full years left on his contract, so his value would've been extremely high.

And if you wait things out with Dame, he'd be on an expiring contract entering 2026/27 as he prepares to return -- you probably could've traded him or even bought him out this offseason without carrying that dead money on the books for years to come.

If you are the Bucks, even if you plan to trade Giannis, do you still draft Yaxel or do you think he’s resigned to being a glorified role player like a Tari Eason and so you draft Ament for youth and potential?

They claim they want resolution by Giannis by the draft -- if they follow through on that plan, they should have a clear sense of their direction by the time they make that pick. Either way, I think best-player-available is the right move there. I'm not super enthusiastic about Ament so I'm not sure he'll fit that bill, but if they believe he does, they should draft him.

Klay could be a candidate for a buy out at some point.  Where would it make sense for him to go?

Can we get the band back together in Golden State? With Kerr back, Draymond likely to work something out, and Curry an extension candidate, I could see it! Especially if Klay is willing to come back for the minimum.
Thanks for all the questions today, guys! Have a great week and we'll chat again next Monday.
