You never know which prospect a specific team will zero in on -- it's possible the Clippers really love Acuff. But I wouldn't feel great about a backcourt featuring him and Garland from a defensive perspective. Feels like Garland might not be a long-term keeper there if Acuff is the guy they want at No. 5.

At this time Chicago would probably take the last of the big 4 in the draft, but what would they do with the 15th pick?  Do you think they will keep it, or trade it?

I expect them to keep it. When someone new is running the front office, they usually welcome the chance to put their imprint on the roster by drafting potential long-term cornerstones. And there are plenty of intriguing guys available in that No. 15 neighborhood. Cameron Carr would be a good one if he's available.

Do you think the Hawks #8, #23, the worst of MIL/NO next year, and a player (like Daniels) would be enough to get the Hawks into the top 4?

The last similar trade was in 2019 when the Hawks(!) moved up to No. 4 using No. 8, 17, and 35, plus a future top-10 protected first-rounder.

That draft didn't have a clear, consensus top four like this one does, but the inclusion of a player like Daniels would be an interesting wild card here. I don't have a clear sense of how he'd be valued now that he's getting more expensive. My gut says the Bulls wouldn't go for it, but if they're really high on Daniels, maybe.

I don't think they'd move either at this point, but I suspect Wagner would have more trade value. He's the better defender and has been the more efficient scorer. Wouldn't think of any of this season's injuries should be major problems going forward either.
