Corey Kispert to the Spurs to help with their shooting and spacing? Wizards did something similar with Deni to acquire an extra pick last year

Don't hate the idea, but I suspect the return for Kispert would be far more modest than what the Wizards got for Avdija. Kispert doesn't do anything really well outside of shooting.

Is there a world where the Lakers/Hornets trade with Mark Williams and Dalton Knecht works
Luke Adams

Assuming the question is whether they could revisit it this summer, I don't think it's impossible, but it would hinge on the Hornets being willing to accept less for Williams. Maybe that doesn't mean removing the first-rounder, the swap, or Knecht -- maybe it just means putting some (light?) protections on either the swap or the pick.

What's the next Luka-level surprise trade?

Don't know if we'll ever get one on that level again. That one made sit there muttering "this is crazy" for a full 24 hours after it happened.

In terms of what's possible this summer, Sabonis is one name I keep coming back to. He's obviously not on the same level as Luka in terms of on-court impact or trade value, but there has been very little trade chatter about him, and I can definitely envision a scenario in which he's moved.

The NBA, since I'm pretty sure this doesn't come close to being CBA-legal for either side.

Nets have tons of draft picks. They would either want to move up in this draft (Mem can’t help them) or get them a core piece. Otherwise, Brandon Clark is the same age as Cam Johnson. Why would the Nets want to do that? That doesn’t move the needle for me.

This is a response to an early question about Cam Johnson as a target for the Grizzlies. I hear where you're coming from, but Clarke and Konchar would essentially just be salary pieces in that hypothetical, not players the Nets are necessarily targeting for what they can provide on the court. So it would come down to the quality of the picks Memphis was offering. If those picks were good enough, I don't think it would matter that the Nets already have a bunch of them -- it still could qualify as a good return for Johnson.
Thanks for all the questions today, guys. Enjoy the rest of the Eastern Finals and we'll do this again next Thursday. Have a great week!
