If it's with the right contender, sure. I doubt he'd be willing to sign up for that role with, say, the Hornets. But if he has a shot at winning a title, OK.

Do we know who didn't give a vote to Jokic at all for MVP?
Luke Adams
10:53
Not yet, but those votes are made public eventually, so we'll find out sooner or later. Will be a fun day on Twitter for that voter, I'm sure.

Did you agree with  Monte Mcnair as executive of the year?
Luke Adams
10:56
McNair was a fine choise, though that award seems like the most arbitrary of the postseason awards. It's voted on by fellow executives, and I suspect some of them have a tendency to throw third-place votes to friends (this must be the explanation for why David Griffin and Tim Connelly got votes). The criteria is also odd -- are executives being rewarded for moves they made during the last 12 months or for the ones they made over the years that led to the current roster? Fortunately in McNair's case, you could justify it either way.

If the Raptors (or another NBA team) were to offer Becky Hammon a head coaching job, how might that work with regard to her current head coaching position in the WNBA?  Their season ends in early or late September, depending on how far her team advances in the playoffs.

I expect if she got an NBA head coaching opportunity, she wouldn't finish out the year with Las Vegas. It's one thing when an assistant coach involved in the NBA postseason finishes out the year with his team, because he's still freed up by mid-June and can participate in Summer League, etc. But to wait until September seems excessive.

Are the Hawks willing to trade DeAndre Hunter?
Luke Adams
10:59
In the right package, I'm sure they would be. I doubt they'll go out of their way to shop him this summer though. He's the sort of player who makes sense alongside Trae Young.

Whats your expectations for Holmgren and the Thunder next season?
Luke Adams
11:00
I'm not expecting huge things from Holmgren right away, but there's enough talent on the rest of the roster to be pretty bullish about their growth going forward. Definitely not crazy to anticipate a playoff berth next season (though we'll see what happens with their roster and others this offseason).

Regardless of what happens do the Lakers retain Schroeder, and all new acquirers 4 next yr.  Or who would they let go?
Luke Adams

Schröder will be the trickiest to retain, since they can't give him much of a raise. D-Lo, Beasley, and Vanderbilt should be back. Probably Rui too -- if they want him, they're in a great position to pay for him since he'll be restricted. Bamba may not make sense at his team option price ($10MM+).
Thanks for all the questions today, guys! Our next live chat will take place on Tuesday afternoon with Dana Gauruder.
