I would only trade Randle if it involves an upgrade -- another star who fits with the rest of the roster. The Knicks have enough talent to still be a contender if Hartenstein leaves.

Face it, as long as the Lakers are owned as they currently are and the way the are set up, this team is a play in team and doesn't have any real chance as they are constructed. Any chance that Jeanie Buss will smarten up and hire a REAL head of BB ops like Bob Myers?

Rob Pelinka needs a really good summer to keep his job long-term. He has to re-sign LeBron and built a roster that can contend in a loaded Western Conference. If that doesn't happen, he'll be next to go, and Myers makes sense as a replacement.
