Mavs more likely to trade up, trade down or stand pat?
Luke Adams
3:46
With a lottery pick, I'll always say standing pat is the most likely outcome. For all the rumors we get leading up to the draft, there's very rarely more than one - or maaybe two - trades involving top-10 picks.

If they go in either direction from No. 9, I'd say they're more likely to trade down.

Good afternoon. Hawks fan here. Would the Hawks consider bringing back John Collins? I think he’s a free agent and couldn’t the Hawks use his skills on a team friendly contract?
Luke Adams

Could see Atlanta kicking the tires, but I think the Hawks are probably prioritizing more of a true five when they look at frontcourt options. I like Okongwu a lot but he's somewhat undersized and could use some help at center.

Would Hornets have any interest in Bobby Portis if the Bucks tear it down when Giannis leaves?
Luke Adams
3:49
Sure, swapping Josh Green or Grant Williams' expiring contract for Portis would be almost a perfect salary match, and would allow the Bucks to get off that money a year earlier. But Portis is more of a backup, so I doubt the Hornets would offer more than second-round picks for him.

are You hearing anything from Indiana? The Trey Murphy price seems too high. I’d love to see them package’27 first for a scorer who can replace some of what Mathurin did

The Pacers are in a tricky spot because pretty much all of their guys with mid-level salaries or higher are important rotation players who they probably don't want to trade.

If there's a scoring wing who's on a modest contract and can play a bench role, I'm sure they'll look at it, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's a relatively quiet offseason for the Pacers -- they could leave the door open to make a more aggressive move at the 2027 deadline after they've seen how the lineup looks with Haliburton and Zubac healthy and together.

If Trae Young signs an extension  with the Wizards, do you think he will get $40 million a year?
Luke Adams
3:53
$120MM and three years is the number that keeps being thrown out there. It feels a little high for my liking, but if the last year isn't fully guaranteed, I guess I don't mind it.

What's a realistic big move the Pistons can make to significantly raise their ceiling?
Luke Adams
3:57
There are certain great fits that I wouldn't classify as "realistic" (Lauri Markkanen is one). If they're looking at trade options who would help them offensively without costing a ton, Michael Porter, Tyler Herro, and Kyrie Irving are a few that come to mind.

Also, I know it's not an exciting option and would probably be a fallback plan, but I kinda like the DeMar DeRozan fit in Detroit. The cost would likely be extremely minimal and he'd give them a legitimate shot creator and half-court scorer alongside Cade. Would be a stop-gap solution, but if there are no bigger deals to be made, I'm intrigued by it.

Which team will Reaves sign with
Luke Adams
3:59
Would be surprised if it's not the Lakers, but I'm fascinated to see if the Nets will put the pressure on them by making a max offer. Even if money isn't everything for Reaves and he wants to stay in L.A., I have to think he won't be eager to take a much lower annual salary, so the Lakers would have to make a competitive bid.

Will AD play one minute of basketball in DC, or is he gone this summer?
Luke Adams
4:00
If AD signals that he doesn't want to be there, I imagine the Wizards will try to make a deal, but I doubt that would be their first choice. I hope he sticks around. Seeing Trae and AD play with the No. 1 pick would be a lot more fun that what we've seen out of D.C. for the past few seasons.
