Who would you trade off the Pacers - - Sabonis or Turner?
Luke Adams
12:34
Depends on the offers, but I really like what Turner gives you on defense and I think Indiana can get its offense from elsewhere. I'd prefer to move Sabonis.

When does Pop retire? And does Becky take over for him or someone else? Should it be Becky or an outside hire?
Luke Adams
12:36
Popovich doesn't seem like the type to announce ahead of time that he's entering his final year, so I sort of suspect that when he does retire, it'll feel abrupt and catch us off guard. I wouldn't even be totally shocked if he did it after the Olympics, though I think next spring is more likely.
12:38
As for his replacement, I have a hard time endorsing (or not endorsing) an assistant for any job, since it's really hard to evaluate a coach's abilities until we see what they do as ahead coach. The Spurs certainly know Hammon better than anyone, so if she becomes Pop's successor, that's a signal they think she's ready and will be good at it.

Is Jarrett Allen really worth over 100 million dollars as a centre who can't create or shoot? Would you pay?
Luke Adams
12:40
Four years, $100MM+ would be an overpay. $100MM for five years isn't a bad deal. I do wonder if the Cavs might get a slightly better price -- I don't expect many of the teams with cap room will prioritize an RFA like Allen, so it's unclear how much leverage he'll have.

Way too early pick for ROY?
Luke Adams
12:41
Gotta see where guys land, but if the Rockets take Jalen Green, I like his chances.

Christian Wood to GSW for 7/14/Wiseman...who says no?  Rockets could take Mobley at 2 to pair with Wiseman and then take whoever falls out of the Jalens, Kuminga, Scottie Barnes and Keon at 7.  That's a pretty great foundation.
Luke Adams
12:41
Rockets would snap that up in a second, I think. Don't see the Warriors going for it -- they'd be aiming higher with that package.
OK
12:42
What do you see OKC doing with all those picks? Imagine they will try and package 2-3 to move up
Luke Adams
12:43
If there's a guy they like, that would certainly make sense. They seem a lot more likely to use their stockpile of picks to move up for specific targets than to trade for an established vet star.
12:45
I don't hate the idea of an OKC/Toronto deal involving 4/6. An SGA/Suggs backcourt pairing would be really nice for the Thunder, and Barnes or Kuminga would be a good fit for the Raptors.

What moves you see the Utah jazz making to getting over the top
Luke Adams
12:48
The Jazz are in a challenging spot. Very much capped out (and well into the tax if they re-sign Conley). And most of their bigger contracts are for guys that were key contributors and aren't particularly expendable. Maybe there's a way to package one or two of those vets with a future first-rounder for an upgrade, but Justin Zanik has his work cut out for him.

As a lifelong Kings fan, what are the odds we find a contributor similiar to Halliburton who can come in and be an impact player right away. Who shall we looking to fall?
Luke Adams
12:50
Counting on another pick as good as the Haliburton one is probably expecting too much. But if they want an immediate contributor, maybe Corey Kispert? He's projected in that range and seems ready to play a role right away.

Are the Lakers likely to pursue rockets #2 pick in an effort to draft Jalen Green? What would a realistic package like this require from LA?
Luke Adams
12:51
Don't think the Lakers have the pieces for that sort of move.

What does the market for Oladipo look like? Does anyone offer any real money/term?
Luke Adams
12:52
I expect his market to be pretty limited. Any team offering multiple years isn't going to offer much money. His best bet would be taking a one-year, prove-it deal in the hopes of getting healthy for 2022.

One of the few loyal Clipper fans out here! With Reggie Jackson's tremendous post season, what will he cost in free agency?
Luke Adams
12:53
The free agent market will be pretty crowded with point guards, which will work against him. Still, I could see him getting a deal in the mid-level range.
Wizards Fan
12:54
Any speculation on the future of Wizards 2-way guard Garrison Mathews? He is still undrafted & possibly the best 3 point marksman on the wizards.
Luke Adams
12:56
He'll be a restricted free agent this offseason -- wouldn't be surprised if the Wizards lock him up to a multiyear deal. He shouldn't be too expensive.

Al Horford and Moses Brown started 60 of the 72 games at center for OKC last season. First, do you believe OKC should re-sign Mike Muscala? Second, how many veterans do you believe Sam Presti will have on the roster at the beginning of next season?
Luke Adams
12:57
It seems like Muscala enjoys playing in OKC. His comments at the end of the season felt a bit stronger than the usual "I'd love to come back" stock answer you get from free agents. The only reason not to re-sign him on a minimum-salary deal would be if there's not enough room on the roster.
12:58
The Thunder have so many young prospects and draft picks that I don't expect more than maybe 2-3 vets on the roster.

12:58
Do you think the Knicks will pick 3 times in the top 32, or will they try to move up? And if it's the latter, what kind of deal would that be?
Luke Adams
12:59
They'll try to trade up, especially if there's a guy they like in the late lottery. It might be tough though. Teams like Indiana (13), Golden State (14), etc. would probably rather trade their picks for vets rather than MORE picks.

Where do you see Lowry ending up?
Luke Adams

I'll guess Miami.
Joel Embiid

Sixers: Dame, Covington

Warriors: Simmons, Powell

Blazers: Wiseman, 7, 14, Wiggins, Maxey, Hill, 3 firsts from Philly

Framework make sense?
Luke Adams

I'm not sure the Warriors go for it, but it's not the worse three-team proposal I've ever seen. And it'd make for a very fun day on Hoops Rumors.
Thanks for all your questions, guys. There were a ton I didn't get to, so my apologies. Let's do this again next week!
