Haven't heard anything about either of them lately. There's a whole wave of sorta third-tier free agents that I'm surprised haven't signed yet. I wonder if those guys are waiting for the second-tier FAs (CP3, Brogdon, Horford, maybe Beal, etc.) to sign, since that would help clarify which teams still need help and which don't.

If the Lakers are clearing cap for 2027 what happens with Austin Reaves if his contract is up in 2026?

They could extend Reaves (and Luka) and still have plenty of cap flexibility if hardly anyone else is on the books. Not like they need an entirely clean slate.

Yes. I think it might be your last season in the NBA altogether, which I assume is why you want the Lakers acting with a little more urgency to upgrade their roster!
