Do you think the Jazz will make another move or two? Like getting Turner or another new center?
Dana Gauruder
11:03
I definitely believe the Jazz are open to making more moves. They've got the draft capital now to be creative. I am not entirely convinced Mitchell is off the market. But if they truly want to remain a contender, they have more work to do to upgrade the roster. The guys they got from Minnesota were mostly in the deal for salary matching purposes.

Do you see the Pistons dealing Kelly Olynyk? If so, where and for what return?
Dana Gauruder
11:04
Would make sense for them to do so. They have an overload of bigs. Plus Olynyk is signed for 2 more seasons, though the last year has a partial guarantee. I just don't see how he fits in the rotation, unless they're committed to giving Duren a full season in the G League. Still kind of baffling why they were willing to take Noel in that deal with New York.

Could Dallas and New York still work a sign and trade for brunson? Nothing signed yet by brunson.
Dana Gauruder
11:06
Before Brunson officially signs the dotted line with the Knicks, it remains feasible. But both parties would have to be motivated to do so. The Knicks have enough cap space now that they don't need to do a deal unless it's in their best interests.

Any value in a Conley trade?
Dana Gauruder
11:08
Not much. Conley is coming off a ho-hum season, he's up there in years and he's signed through 2023/24. Those factors make it tough to deal him, unless there's a team out there desperate for a veteran point guard.

Bulls have 15 guaranteed contracts but seems they need a big forward..could coby white still be moved to address that need?
Dana Gauruder
11:09
The addition of Dragic was surprising and creates a glut in the backcourt. I could certainly see them moving White or another one of their backcourt players to fortify the frontcourt.

Greetings, could it be that okc‘s Management Strategy to Go all in on draftpicks to rebuild on a younger Core actually Starts paying off?
Dana Gauruder
11:12
They have an impressive group of young players. I think it will be fascinating to see how it all meshes together. May take another year but you can't be in rebuild mode forever. They won 24 games last year. Fair to expect to add 10-15 more wins to that total and aim for the playoffs the following season.

What moves do you foresee the Warriors making to round out its roster?
Dana Gauruder
11:14
If you ask the Warriors vets, I guess they want Durant back. It's not inconceivable but don't see that happening. They got Looney back, which was their main objective, and those three high draft picks need more PT to show what they can do. I don't really think they need to do much at all, other than a lower level move for frontcourt depth.
Randy
11:14
Do you think John Collins is staying with the Hawks
Dana Gauruder
11:17
His name has been in trade rumors for quite awhile, so it's just a matter of whether they find a deal that won't hurt their chances in the short run. They made their big splash with the Murray acquisition. They're not looking down the road to be a championship contender. That's the kind of move you make when you want to win big now and go very deep in the postseason.

What kind of leap would it take for RJ Barrett to be considered MIP. Are there any fits for Randle on trade market?
Dana Gauruder
11:22
Randle had that one big year and got paid. It makes it tough to move him. He's now signed through 2025-26 and that last year is a player option. I would be surprised if they found a taker. They also seem to be in a quandary regarding a Barrett extension. New York doesn't seem sold that he's a max player but it will be hard to sign him without an offer at or near the max level. Brunson alone doesn't make the Knicks an automatic playoff contender, so they've still got work to do.
Ayton
11:22
Am I going to sign with the Pacers today?
Dana Gauruder
11:23
The latest chatter has the Pacers giving Ayton an offer sheet in the next few days. We'll see if that materializes -- might be in Suns best interest to figure out a sign and trade with Indiana.
Bucks
11:24
Do the bucks add a Dennis Schroeder or a Kemba Walker to get more production from the bench
Dana Gauruder
11:27
With Walker soon to pass through waivers, he'll be out there for any team that wants to take a chance on his gimpy knees. There's been very little buzz regarding Schroder - he is apparently playing the waiting game, hoping for an offer he feels he deserves.
Bulls
11:28
How much of an upgrade is Andre Drummond over Tony Bradley, I find it substantial
Dana Gauruder
11:30
Agreed. Wasn't all that long ago that Drummond was Detroit's franchise player. The drastic changes in the way the game is played now, with traditional post players becoming dinosaurs, directly affected his career path. Drummond is still one of the best rebounders in the league and capable of some big games. Not a bad second-unit pickup.

Will the Raptors sign Austin Rivers a backup PG at veteran’s minimum or up to the remainder of the open MLE less a $1 Million for a 3 year contract for Koloko
Dana Gauruder
11:32
Rivers is another free agent where there's been little to no buzz regarding possible suitors. So I could certainly see him eventually settling for a vet minimum deal, whether it's with Toronto or somewhere else.
Trog
11:32
If you're Indiana, what do you do with your cap space? Pursue Ayton and trade Turner ... or get draft picks for taking on someone else's unwanted salary?
Dana Gauruder
11:33
I think you're about to see the Pacers tip their hand. If they give an offer sheet to Ayton, they obviously have no reason to retain Turner. They must be satisfied there's a solid trade offer for Turner if they make that move for Ayton.

11:35
Anybody in on Boogie Cousins? Denver Post implied he was not good in the locker room. Is his attitude or perceived attitude gonna relegate him to in-season pick ups for the rest of his career?
Dana Gauruder
11:36
Saw the same item. Interesting in that Michael Malone chatted up Cousins big-time when they first signed him, saying basically he was misunderstood. So if Denver soured on him, there are precious few landing spots for him to get another chance. Probably will have to wait for a team that's desperately for frontcourt help in-season after some injuries.
Sexton’s Endless Free Agency
11:37
If Cavs sign Sexton for a contract in the high teens yearly, is there any surplus value there? Big fan of his, but seems that’d be an overpay in a weak market
Dana Gauruder
11:40
Sexton is going to get plenty of playing time of his knee is healthy and he's young. It wasn't too long ago that Sexton and his people were hoping for a max prior to the injury. Getting him in the high teens, if he's good to go, might actually be good value. The way the cap is going up and up, starters making around $20 mill a year, especially younger ones, will start looking like bargains.

11:41
Why is it taking Dame so long to sign the 2 year extension supermax that was reportedly happening?
Dana Gauruder
11:44
He doesn't have to sign it until the start of the regular season and there' was speculation that he wanted to be sure the front office has done enough to make the team a contender again. It certainly seems with the moves made -- Grant, Payton, Simons, etc. -- they've done plenty. I think he'll sign it soon.
Derrick

As a lakers fan, I do like the additions that we made thus far. Young, energetic players. Not big time names but, solid contributors.  Do you see the Lakers acquiring kyrie irving?
Dana Gauruder
11:49
It's probably the most logical landing spot for Irving if he's dealt. Irving's status might be tied with the Nets do with Durant -- whether they find a package they're satisfied with, or just hold onto Durant. The Nets have the leverage in the situation, due to Durant's extension. I do think Brooklyn will eventually make a deal with the Lakers -- it just makes too much sense -- Lakers gamble on Kyrie, Brooklyn doesn't have to put up with his drama any longer.
Steve
11:49
Who plays more games next year: Zion or AD?
Dana Gauruder
11:50
That's a good prop bet for some book in Vegas. I'll take AD, if I were to make a bet on it. But it would be a small bet!
Luk
11:51
Do You think Dallas has already set their final roster for 22/23?
Dana Gauruder
11:54
Christian Wood was an interesting gamble and JaVale McGee signing was somewhat of a surprise. I do think they'll have to find a trade for Powell -- he certainly seems to be out of the rotation. So, I see at least one more trade coming.
