Haven't really seen anything on those guys lately. I still think Dwight and Whiteside will be on rosters by the time training camps open, but I could see Cousins and Cauley-Stein having to wait a little longer.

Some opportunities could open up once various teams determine whether or not they have any other major moves up their sleeves -- ie. the Nets with Durant and Irving, Utah with Mitchell, the Pacers and Spurs with their cap room, etc.
Hey! Ho! Let's go!

Not seeing any details on how Connor Gillespie broke his leg. Have you?

Apparently it happened at a Villanova practice where he was helping out. There's a Philadelphia Inquirer story about it, which we were going to mention in an article later today.

What is the next step to our long-term success?

I feel like the primary focus this season should be making sure you do everything you can to get Cunningham and Ivey comfortable playing together. If you're going to contend in a few years, those two guys are going to be leading the attack. At this point, player development and chemistry is more important than any additional roster moves.

Lakers absolutely don't have enough shooting to compete regardless of whether they deal Westbrook or not. Yea or Nay?

I'm inclined to agree. I know their resources were pretty limited this offseason, but I was surprised they didn't make that more of a priority (using the MLE on an inconsistent shooter like Walker was an odd choice to me).
Thanks for all your questions today, guys! Our next chat will be taking place on Saturday afternoon (we're trying something new). Hope to see you then!
