Would be surprised if he's extended in the next few weeks. Doesn't feel like he's shown enough offensively.

If he does sign one, I feel like it'd have to be something like the Warriors did with Moses Moody or the Wizards previously did with Corey Kispert -- maybe in the $13-15MM per year range. A breakout year would get him more than that, but I'd be reluctant to bet on it at this point.

I'm not sure I understand Dubious Handle aka Julius Randle's role with the Nets. Him and Porter are an awful fit together, and both seem like they just want to score 20 points a night, regardless of the effective it has on the game. Is he a mentor, potential all star they can trade later, or a core piece they're seeing a future with?

I doubt they view him as a long-term piece. He's more of a short-term floor raiser (now that tanking for the worst possible record isn't incentivized) who could maybe be flipped for something of value next year.
