Assuming Charlotte cuts me, should I expect to land on another team looking for wing depth? Is there a market for me?

If you're healthy, there should be, but that's a big if. I wonder if the Lakers would be interested in a reunion. I could see the Blazers being another fit, off the top of my head. They need forward depth behind Avdija and Camara.

Am I getting a standard contract or a 2 way?
Luke Adams

I'm surprised you haven't signed a two-way already, but that still looks like the most likely outcome to me.

Looking at the 3 teams who have made the biggest trades so far - Boston, Miami, and Minnesota - who do you think will do best in the regular season? Who has the highest ceiling in the playoffs? And which of these teams, if any, do you think will flop?
Luke Adams

I may look silly for this in a couple months, but I still have a lot of confidence in Boston to be really good as long as Tatum is 100% healthy. Miami and Minnesota have a ton of talent, but it may take some time for their stars to develop chemistry after such significant changes, whereas Paul George seems like a more natural fit with the Celtics to me.

I'd take the Celtics to have the best regular season record, though I think Minnesota has the highest playoff ceiling if everything comes together for them.

We got 17 guys on the roster right now. Which 2 of my current teammates won't be here come opening night

If the Bucks have to make cuts, my guess is Caris LeVert and Pete Nance, with Jericho Sims as a wild card if they don't want to lose LeVert's expiring salary.

There are some other trade candidates on that roster (Kuzma, most notably), but I'd be surprised if anyone besides LeVert, Nance, or Sims is waived.

So what happens with Richie Saunders? Since he's injured, he'll just go unsigned the whole season?
Luke Adams
1:57
I expect he'll either sign a two-way contract or a G League contract, which will line him up to go through his recovery process within the Grizzlies' organization.

If he's able to come back from his ACL tear during the second half, maybe he signs a three- or four-year standard deal in February, March, or April.

What do I need to do to get a training camp invite?
Luke Adams
1:58
I might be wrong, since there hasn't really been any reporting on this, but I bet there would be teams willing to give you a shot on a non-guaranteed training camp deal right now. I've been assuming that you're unsigned because you want more than that.

How's my contract extension negotiations looking? Is there a chance I hit RFA or get an extension before hand? Are the jazz having different priorities in who to extend or play over me?

I wouldn't expect your extension talks to get serious until closer to the Oct. 19 deadline. I wouldn't be shocked if you're able to work something out, but the Jazz showed with Walker Kessler that they're willing to wait out an extension/RFA situation if they don't get the price they want, and maybe they want to assess how you mesh with Darryn Peterson this season. If you're looking for an Amen Thompson-type deal, you'll probably have to wait and try to get that next summer.
Thanks to everyone for your questions today. We covered a lot of ground! I hope you'll join me at 1 pm CT on Wednesdays going forward for our weekly live chats.
Have a great week!
