Hello and welcome to the panel discussion on "How Tech Changed Journalism," featuring Marten Blankesteijn (Founder & CEO of Blendle), Greg Dybec (Managing Editor of Elite Daily) and Stefan Betzold (Managing Director of Bild Digital) are interviewed in the TOA15 Studio by Markus Hohmeier (Director of Publishing & Marketing, The European).

The discussion starts with the moderator opening the panel by introducing the panelist and starting the first question with tech and how it has changed journalism.

According to Greg, new technology like Snapchat has given a new opportunity to share more information.

"I heard young people never play music, and I believed that. We have to find journalists. It is hard to find good stories. We need to find good articles in journalism," says Marten.

The second question was to Stefan whether he expected Springer to transform dramatically and now it's almost a digital company. What does he think?
6:39
As per Stefan, "we are not doomed completely. We are just facing difficulties like we used to face 10–15 years ago when CDs came, but as the digital industry came into the picture, they are growing again."

The moderator asks a question regarding Snapchat and while talking about similar context, he talks about Facebook and an article published on Facebook.

Stefan shares his insight that video is a strategic area. They don't put all videos behind paywalls, they have licences for free users. While Marten feels there are certain journalists who have a brand of their own,
