Just bought my Tracker in October and I already want to expand the casting deck. Will it throw off the balance of the boat? Would be adding a 30”x40” section alongside the console, attaching to the casting deck. Makes more storage too.

aluminum is the way to go. You dont ever have to worry about it rotting. its simple circular saw and jig saw like dave said. then you can rivet or screw it together

It's a kayak but has canopy, trolling motor with controls up front, manual motor hoist, 7" Garmin 7sv mounted to dashboard, 6-rod holder across back 7' manual stakeout pole, anchor, lights all around inside and out, minnow bucket storage, and still room in back for lunch box and cart. Fished all 2019 in North and Central NJ events. Next year will hit some SJ. Just switched to Outback.
