Terrific. Great that you did that. I still stand by what I know: He's probably going to take a year off, and there are some family concerns that could keep him tied to Raleigh. The Penguins wouldn't mind doing it, but there's more to it than that.

Do you think Paul Martin (salary retained of course) is a reasonable trade target? This last season was an anomaly due to a nagging injury (I think). He would bring that veteran leadership we lacked and solid defensive play.

He would. You're right. But I think the age and regression would be a concern. Especially when I question how much the Sharks would be willing to take back.

Oh, yeah. He went back to Russia. He usually goes off the grid. There's nothing to be concerned about there.

can i just say this to all hating Sullivans coaching...We won TWO cups BECAUSE of his coaching...if you remember correctly in the start of 2016 season we were 10th in Eastern conf. prior to Sully comin in...not only get he get us up to playoff contention...he got us to the playoff...AND a Cup

I do not understand why there are so many anti Sullivan questions.  The first two years, he wins cups.  I loses 1 series and now some think that he is a tyrant that is more about ego than results.  I think that the Pens are very lucky to have him.

I would say two of those three. I just don't know which two. I think the Penguins would like for it to involve Hunwick, though.
