You could stop watching, going and buying, but even that doesn't ensure a change in ownership. My suggestion would be to support those playing and make it as publicly known as you want to what your feelings are about the situation. But don't punish guys like Josh Bell and Bryan Reynolds. They're good ballplayers, and they're doing everything they can.

Watching the various Pirates catchers' faces and body language when Vazquez does his punching bag routine on them after a save, I get the feeling they don't much care for it. Ever hear any scuttlebutt about that?

If it means a win, I'm pretty sure Pirates catchers would actually let Vazquez punch them in the face.

Jason: what are your thoughts on trading Marte for an equally comparable (talent wise) starting pitcher? We have plenty of outfielders even though Marte is the best one defensively.

It depends on the guy, but I'm not against it. They need another starter. You have to give to get, and they should be dealing from a strength to address a need.

You shouldn't. They very well might not. I hope they do. I think they should. But I'm not telling you they're going to add. I don't know that. I have questions, too.
