No, he'll be back soon enough. Just a matter of whether he's built back up enough or needs another rehab start. But it certainly won't be long.

Was there any talk of Marcano heading to the show straight off instead of Castro? Is this a matter of easing him in, still being so young or Castro being more ready?

I think they view Castro as more ready and also having earned the opportunity with the Pirates. That said, I think you will also see Marcano up here before long.

They're starters now. I could see Priester and Contreras up here by then. I'm less confident in the other two.

It would take an absolutely massive package. I just don't see that happening. Again, I think they will listen. But it would have to be straight up nuts.

Any Kellington update? Is Corona out of the picture?

No update. Been swamped with major league stuff. I have not heard that anyone is out of the picture at this point. I do think they wanted to get Bishop done first, however. That happened and so did the Anderson fiasco.

I could be wrong, but I think I saw Gamel is arbitration eligible after this year, not a free agent

Damn, you're right, Big Dave. He's Arb 3. Good catch by you. So, yeah, they could keep Gamel. Would probably make sense, too. Would also be shocked if they don't move him.

When GMBC took over, how much of the minor league/development staff was replaced? Did they keep some of the same guys but just change the philosophy and strategies, or completely replace everyone with their own guys?

I can't give you a percentage, Alex. I'm sorry. There were some really good people in place, and Ben added on. In other areas, I think he blew some things up, although it's less of that and more adding on. So, yeah, I would say it's more adjusting strategies, how they think about things, etc.
