Nope, I am not. I don't dislike them by any stretch. But not at fan level yet. I will, however, forever be fans of Sidney Crosby and Jim Rutherford as people. Two of the greatest I've ever gotten to cover and hope I get to again, to be quite honest. Amazing, amazing people. But no, the whole fan thing has not yet set in. Still too close.

Any updates on Solomon Maguire? Is he currently playing in the United states and if so, where? I am interested in his development, but have not heard anything as of late. Thanks!!

Man, that's a pull. Things are not going well for Mr. Maguire, who's hitting .146 in 17 games for Pirates Black in the Florida Complex League. Has a double, 2 home runs and 15 strikeouts in 59 plate appearances. He's still very young, though.

It has to be a quieter offseason trade situation this year unless someone comes after Moran, Stratton or the Bucs find something they like for Stallings dont you think?
Jason Mackey
12:54
Yes, I expect this one to be much quieter. Would hope they maybe get something done with Reynolds or Hayes, plus sign a FA or two. I certainly think we'll see a trade, perhaps multiple, but not nearly as busy as this past one.
12:55
Have not heard, one. Yajure would be on five days rest, so it would depend on if they would want to do that. They might ... and just short pitch-count him. Could also depend on Brubaker, who is eligible to come off the IL. Will be curious to see if he's an option. Tomczyk talks today at 3:45.

Have you heard anything about a starter tomorrow? Perhaps Yajure?
Jason Mackey
12:56
Sorry, Bruce. Answered your question before moving it over.
Last call, folks.

Who's wins a foot race, you or Fittipaldo ?
Jason Mackey

Not even close -- me. But weightlifting, Ray has me. For the record, if we raced, there's a 75% chance we both pull something.

What areas of the team have you seen the most improvement over the season from?
Jason Mackey
1:05
No. 1 is the farm system, assuming that's allowed. No. 2, I would say defense. They've actually become a solid defensive team. I think we've seen some individual player stuff that has been really good -- Reynolds, Bednar, Stallings and Gamel, to name a few -- but I can't say the offense or pitching has shown a ton of year-over-year improvement as a group.

Name me one prospect not being talked about that we should be paying attention to...
Jason Mackey

Hmmm, I like it. Diego Castillo at Class AAA. Really like him. Bonus: Jared Triolo. someone Mike wrote about recently.

Awesome, folks. I have to run and start/continue a Clemente Day piece. Appreciate the questions, as always. Let's do this again next week. Thanks!
