Hmm ... Pujols comes to mind. Recently ... Moustakas, Hiura, O'Neill. ... I like the two you mentioned, though. I think about those guys in that discussion a lot.

The Pirates do have quite a few prospects that could be future stars. What is your opinion of Nutting signing these prospects when they are eligible to make big money?

I think they will sign some, not all. If this works the way it should, you extend some guys if you don't have a clear succession plan. I think others, you need to be OK making hard decisions. If you have minor league talent at a particular spot, maybe you let someone there test FA. But for now, I think they just need to focus on acquiring and growing the prospects.
