Jason I want to believe they will but I know how this con operates. They tap dance and give the "we tried really hard to sign somebody, but we couldn't" and throw their hands up and people still buy it. There is a sizeable group of patsies who still buy the shtick and keep falling for the lies.

You think there are dozens of really good baseball people who are willing to set fire to their futures for a con? Stop it. They can make bad decisions. And have. But the con stuff, gimme a break.

Why are you so high on Priester? You teased him coming up to the majors as a control pitcher. That means doesn’t throw hard. He sat at 92 mph. Got a couple ticks higher after rejoining the club. He looks at best a 3-5 SP or long reliever. Bido threw way harder and has a better arm than Priester. Why did they let him go? Not saying he’s a top level starter. But we need arms.

I teased him as a control pitcher? That's news to me. He throws two fastballs and has been around 94-96 mph. That'll play. Has a really good curveball, which I think you saw. Slider flashed at times, too. He has also left pitches up and gotten hammered. I'm not saying Priester has been great, but geez. He's so young. Sometimes it takes a bit. That he has struggled ... he ain't the first one. Also, let's not pretend like Osvaldo Bido was some sort of savior here. He was a reliever, not a starter.
