Why does it always seem that Ravens are one step ahead of the Steelers as an organization in every way. Trade up to pick Lamar Jackson when the Steelers could have picked him. Sign Derek Henry. Now sigh Jaire Alexander when our secondary lacks depth. How long is it going to take until we can compete with the Ravens when the games matter??

Not this season, at least. Steelers need to hope Darius Slay works out. Would imagine Alexander had a better opportunity in Baltimore than he did here.

Why sign Slay who will be 35 this season when they could have signed a younger but experienced CB? Slay is way past retirement age in the NFL.

I don't know, Bob. I mean, Slay wasn't terrible last season. I do think he has something to bring in terms of leadership. He's already been ... we'll say not shy with Joey Porter Jr. I'm OK with the Slay signing. I just wish there was more depth.

Glad they have informed Geno they will not be resigning him.  Watching him play is painful since he is now really slow and sloppy. I was hoping he would retire this offseason to save his legacy. Your thoughts?

He's under contract. Why would he do that? And, please. You're really that offended watching Evgeni Malkin? Come on. He has lost a step, sure. The Penguins also didn't do him any favors with a revolving door of linemates.

Didn't mean to hit a nerve and say your interests were stupid, I have friends who share both your interests and they are awesome just like you! I hung out with several deadheads in college and no most of the songs through osmosis.
