Eckersley doesn't hold back. I can't remember specifics but one Red Sox player attacked him physically on a flight over comments he made during a broadcast.

Believe it was David Price. And Eckersley wasn't wrong. Price gets paid a lot of money to absorb criticism. Bligh Madris does not -- relatively speaking.

You think Davis will be up next year? Later, I assume? As we're talking catchers has Ryan Delay played himself into serious consideration for a roster spot next year?

Jason Delay -- and yes. TBD on Henry. I think they would like that, but he needs to get some things accomplished at Double-A this year first. Maybe a taste of Triple-A or Arizona Fall League, too.

Jason, with your new gig, are you not at all concerned that you will not have enough time to be knowledgeable on all sports, yet still have to time to jam Phish, and raise a family on the side? Don't spread yourself too thin, my man. Sports and the fam will always be there....

I'm not concerned. It's all about orientating my time. I have an incredibly supportive wife and family. We're gonna work like hell to find a rhythm that works. It just requires me to think a little differently than I did with baseball.

Looking at things now with the Steelers offense and the 2nd round selection in last year's draft...would you rather have a solid TE in Pat Friermuth or a solid center anchoring down the line like Creed Humphrey?  Passing on Humphrey has me bummed given how well he is playing.

I don't blame you. I'm OK with Freiermuth because they needed someone like him. But, there are a lot of years in there where they ignored OL at the top of the draft.

Hi Jason.  Can we just move on from Josh VanMeter already and just let the kids play it out for the rest of this abysmal season?  Where in the heck is Suwinski these days?
Jason Mackey

Suwinski is hitting like .190. I agree on JVM -- don't see a reason. But I'm also OK letting Suwinski work on stuff at Triple-A. He's not exactly breaking the door down at the moment.

OK, everyone. That does it for me this week. A lot of good, varied questions. Thanks so much. Talk to yinz next Friday!
