I don't know if there's a huge difference in style as much as results. I know this: There's seemingly a very different way they carry themselves. Still relating to players, obviously. But I'd be willing to bet Francona is much more old school in running games or even discussing things with media.

I don't need to have a definitive starter on Sept. 26 for the next year. You could be. You're probably my frontrunner going into camp. But I'm not married to it. Maybe it's Yorke, Cook or someone else. You'll have to earn the job.
