What makes more sense for the White Sox as they fill out the rest of their roster; trading bloated contracts with prospects attached, or signing vets or players coming off down seasons on 1 year deals?

I think for the most part the White Sox don't have that many openings they'd want to fill with a vet. So it would make more sense to me that they trade for dead money with a prospect attached
