Schwarber's closer to guys like Jesse Winker and Corey Dickerson. I wouldn't worry about it too much
10:55
We're talking about just a handful of live at-bats he's not getting, stretched over the course of six or seven months
Bear
10:55
Does Archer get traded and who gets him?
Jeff Sullivan
10:55
Don't see it happening this week
The Rays are closer than people believe

How was Jram’s 2b defense? Even though his bat plays anywhere, would it help the tribe to trade for someone like Moose to play 3b and move Jram back to a more premium position for that uber-elite production.

Now that Jason Kipnis has come alive, I don't know what Moustakas would provide the Indians of any meaningful value

Daniel Robertson has really started to come into his own with the bat and Jake Bauers has been pretty impressive. Rays look like they have one of the brighter futures in the game with many more young players coming. Do you believe in their future?
Jeff Sullivan
10:57
Yep
I'll point to this again: the top six BaseRuns records in baseball this season belong to, in order, the Astros, Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs, Dodgers, and Rays
10:58
That's a Rays team in transition, a Rays team that's lost a lot of good young pitching to injury
They could make the playoffs as soon as next season

Wil Myers is pretty good when he's on the field, right?  His contract isn't as bad as people make it out to be if he's healthy.
Jeff Sullivan
10:59
He's fine. Don't buy him as a star, but he's hardly the Padres' most pressing problem

Is it too early in the rebuild for the Padres to trade for Noah Syndergaard?
Jeff Sullivan
11:00
Ken Rosenthal just published an article talking about how the Padres are checking on Chris Archer
They think they're a year or two away. Never hurts to check around

As a Braves fan who does not really want them to get in on bidding for Britton, who are the other best RP left they could be after? Seems like rental relief aces have been just about free so far and it's frustrating seeing the Braves miss out when their pen is so clearly the team's weakest link.
Jeff Sullivan
11:01
There are a *lot* of pretty good relievers who could be available. Don't worry about missing on what's been moved so far, because there's more where that came from
11:02
Soria! Yates! Stammen! Conley! Pressly! Kela! Diekman! Leclerc! And so on and so forth

How worried should the Dodgers be by Stripling?  He's given up now to include the all star game 9 hr in the last 29 innings after giving up only 7 hr in 72 innings.
Jeff Sullivan
11:03
Stripling since June 10: 46.2 innings, 10 homers, 3 walks, 48 strikeouts
I doubt they're worried at all
I'm sure he'll get fatigued at some point, but he's been amazing

What kind of return are you expecting the O's to get for Britton? Are top 100 prospects out of the question the way the rental market has played out?
Jeff Sullivan
11:04
I could maybe see someone from the bottom of the top-100 list
All right, I need to get rolling
So thank you everybody for hanging out, and I'm sorry for what I didn't or couldn't address. We'll do it again next week at probably the same time, and until then, be well and have great days
