Will Smith if he looks healthy
Mark

Why does spicy food only come from countries that have hot climates? Shouldn't people in colder countries want hot food?
Jeff Sullivan
11:17
Spicy foods cause a variety of physical reactions, including sweat, which helps cool your body down
Greg
11:17
Harvey needs surgery. Where do you think the Mets go to replace his innings? I personally do not like Verrett
Jeff Sullivan
11:17
Suddenly the Mets will turn to the market. Rich Hill makes sense
Erik
11:17
Best prospect to be dealt this deadline?
Jeff Sullivan
11:18
Devers?
Cheeseball

It seems to me that a lot more analysis is put into trying to understand breakouts and improvements than trying to understand slumps and declines. Is that because slumps and declines are generally easy to understand, of just because they're a bummer to think about? Also, Tulo4ever.
Jeff Sullivan
11:19
Some of it is about the negativity. Breakouts are "happier", and we're drawn to that
Nayvadius Wilburn
11:19
Are there any teams which are within 2-3 moves of matching the Cubs for completeness of roster?
Jeff Sullivan
11:19
Well, 2-3 moves is a lot of moves. The Giants could get there with 2-3 moves. Dodgers and Nationals and Blue Jays, too
Chopper Dave
11:20
Can the Orioles reasonably acquire anything better than a 3/4 pitcher that doesn't really help them?
Jeff Sullivan
11:20
Probably not, but a 3/4 pitcher would help them
Erik
11:20
If you knew, with absolute magical confidence, that a pitcher would be a perfectly typical 5th starter for the entirety of his years of team control, never better, never worse, and never injured, where would you draft him?
Jeff Sullivan
11:20
Fourth or fifth round

11:21
if you had to have a player with a .900 OPS and a .250 average, how would you split up the OBP and SlUG? the two extremes would be 250/250/650 and 250/650/250
Jeff Sullivan
11:21
The latter would actually be the most valuable
Dr Johnny Fever
11:21
Any chance the Phils move Hellickson before the deadline
Jeff Sullivan
11:21
Extremely high chance
Like it's over 100%

You're right about pitching mistakes, but there are some guys who can hit good curveballs. The best I ever saw was Manny.
Jeff Sullivan
11:22
Yeah, the absolute best are able to somewhat consistently punish good pitches. Trout does it all the time. But it's a rare skill
All right, I need to get rolling
11:23
So thank you everybody for hanging out, and I'm sorry for what I didn't or couldn't address. We'll do it again next week at the same time, and until then, be well and have great days
