I think it's unlikely, but it would also be justifiable. He's just so broken down that at some point you have to try to forget about what he used to be

Any insight into what the Dodger's rotation will look like in the NLDS? It seems like the waters have muddied a bit with Wood not pitching at 100% and Ryu / Maeda throwing better than normal.

At this point it wouldn't shock me to see Maeda as the No. 4. Or to see Kershaw on short rest again, even though the Dodgers say they want to try to avoid that this time around

I'm getting a little tired of Red Sox fans whining about this sign stealing thing, no its not a "Big deal" and yes most likely everyone does it but just like the New Orleans Saints with the injury targets and the Pats with deflate gate  ect.. THEY GOT CAUGHT, that is literally the only difference and I call BS on Farrell not knowing.

If it is true that Bogaerts has been hurt basically all season, then why has he been playing? How much is that sort of thing a player decision and how much of it is a team decision? I thought one of the reasons for the 10-game DL was to give teams more options for less serious injuries of exactly that sort.

Even this diminished Bogaerts has been a 2.3-WAR regular shortstop. And the Red Sox don't have another shortstop

It's a joint decision. What's under-reported is the reality that just about every regular player in the bigs is playing through something by the time July or August roll around. No one, no one, is healthy
