But, for real, why are baseball owners the worst?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:30
It's bad ...

How much regresion to the mean are you expecting from Danny Santana? What kind of full season numbers are you shooting for?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:31
I think he could be fine in a whole season but the Rangers have a few too many bats and if Santana starts out slow, he could be on the bench. If he plays the whole season, he could put of the equivalent of 20/20

Who do you like and dislike for power and volume in an OBP league: Braun, Yandy, Avisail, Carpenter, and Peralta
Jeff Zimmerman
3:33
Dislike Diaz ... then Braun. None of these guys give me a warm fuzzy

Trying to not be insensitive to issues that are much larger than baseball, but it's safe to say that Mancini will not play in 2020, yes?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:33
He's done
Bob
3:33
More homers this season - joc, Cron, Smoak?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:34
I like Joc with the DH option ... and then Smoak. No NL DH, I'm with Cron

Do you think games wil be played at less than 100% due to a lack of getting back into baseball shape as well as no energy dervied by the lack of fans?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:35
I think players want to play and they'll go all out. I think this early increased effort might lead to injuries.
3:36
If someone needs fans to play hard, they've probably not made it to the bigs.

Seeing some stuff on the Twitterverse that Dansby Swanson is the better value than Bo Bichette at their current ADPs (46 vs 252). What says you?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:37
I can get behind that take. Unless it's a first round SS or one with dual qualification, I'm trying to roster one until after round 10. There are so many good late options.
Bob
3:37
Who are some favorite late round OF targets of yours - around the adp 250 range?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:38
It really depends on my team's needs, power or speed. Outfield is the only position where teams have the option of speed or power, so I hold off on roster any until then

In a keep forever league, I need SP. Is Eddie Rosario too much to give up for Dustin May?  Categories are R, HR, RBI, Ave, Ks, SB...wins, saves, era, whip and Ks.
Jeff Zimmerman
3:39
I'd keep Rosario

Thanks for earlier reply on Maeda,I assume you  think there will be a lot of pitcher injuries, do u think it's more starters or bullpen and do suspect same with batters
Jeff Zimmerman
3:40
I think it'll be starters and who knows who will be the ones hurt. In an AL league one year, I had 8 SP on my bench and DL who were all top-100 starters in mixed leagues. Weird shit can happen.

Alex wood, j gray, or g canning? QS league. Thanks!
Jeff Zimmerman
3:40
Wood ......Gray ......Canning
Ed
3:40
Should we expect a smaller % of QS this season?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:41
Oh hell yea with only a planned 2 week Spring Training. The season might be a third over until pitchers are at their normal IP/S
Trent Hauser
3:42
Kyle Schwarber or Willy Calhoun?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:42
Schwarber and it's not close. With the DH, I'd not be surprised if he was a top-20 hitter.
Trent Hauser
3:42
Ian Happ: breakout candidate?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:43
Maybe ... he's making more contact be still has a ways to go.

Alec Bohm hype is starting to get loud, perhaps in light of the DH extending to all teams. Are you interested for 2020? What's the ceiling like?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:44
I'm interested and think Schwaber is great comp.

Hi Jeff - I'm trying to decide on my fifth keeper and looking for help!  SGP likes Villar, and Z-scores likes Eloy Jimenez.  I'm leaning towards Jimenez mostly for future value, but in a shortened season any little edge in a category can help.  For context it's a roto league with OPS, triples, and total bases.  Other keepers are JRam, Albies, K. Marte, and Springer.  Thanks!
Jeff Zimmerman
3:44
You're right to keep Eloy for his age.

Would you consider having any shares of a(n allegedly) healthy Yoenis Cespedes as the Mets full time DH?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:45
I keep wanting to grab him as my last pick but people kept jumping me. He's worth a shot that late.

If indeed there is an 82 game season, that means the regular season will likely be either 13 or 14 weeks if teams play 6 games a week on average.  So in H2H leagues, assuming there are 3 weeks of fantasy playoffs, it leaves only 11 weekly matchups at most.  Teams will only square off once. How do you suggest leagues with 12 or more teams handle which teams do not face each other, if they have the ability to set the schedule?
Jeff Zimmerman
3:47
I'm sure double match ups are allowed by most where teams face two teams each weak. It's the best option I can think of.

Jeff, just dropping in to say hello from North Topeka. Can't stay for the chat, but wanted to tell you I enjoy your articles.  Keep up the good work and take care!

Alex Wood, Jordan Montgomery, Nate Eovaldi - any/all worth a late round pick in a 12 team league? Who do you like best?
