Is anything short of an ACC championship officially a disappointment for Pitt?

It might be a little harsh to set the bar so high, but I think it would naturally be a disappointment, right? This is the best chance Pitt has ever had to win the ACC. Not only do the Panthers have a quarterback like Kenny Pickett, but the conference is down across the board. Clemson isn’t the usual juggernaut. North Carolina and Miami have been failures this fall. NC State and Wake Forest are far from impervious. Pitt has a two-game cushion in the Coastal, and if it makes it to Charlotte, it’ll probably be favored. And internally, winning the conference is the goal. It was the goal before the season, and it’s the goal now. So anything short of that will be a disappointment for the players, too.

What is you gut feeling for this one?  Do you feel confident Pitt will win?

Nice job covering Pitt FB! Hoping Pitt wins this game. Not a betting guy however i would take Clemson and the points. What say you?

This is my read on this game … If Clemson’s offense clicks, it wins. If it continues to look like it has, Pitt wins by three touchdowns. I understand the coaching staff is well-paid for good reason. But if you take away the brand and the name and look at what Clemson has been this season, I’m leaning toward the latter. Could Saturday be an aha moment for Tony Elliott's offense? I can see it. But my prediction is Pitt 31-16.
