Waldron because of what you said -- less volatility. Rodon seems to have trouble maintaining a high level over long periods of time.

Who is most likely to be part of the Dodgers’ 2025 rotation, Knack, Robleski, Grove, Ryan?
Brent Hershey
12:53
From here: Knack, though should really see more of Robleski and Ryan at MLB level to made a complete decision.

yankees delayed Rodman start after ASB waiting entire weekend before first start. Seemingly giving the bomb more, but aren’t his velo etc, all appear normal. Your crystal ball 2nd half.

Alluded to this above: I have trouble trusting Rodon over long periods; just think the ups/downs is what we get. Though, like Pivetta, the ups are very good.

Brent Hershey

10 team 5x5 keeper league, NL-only, playing for next year.  I have Christian Scott at $12 - is he likely to be a keeper?
Brent Hershey
12:56
Yes, I'd think so
Michael

NL 5x5. Please rate…Birdsong,Philips or junis. Thanks for your help
Brent Hershey

This order; and Birdsong the clear #1

Evan Phillips is on a very cheap contract in our NL-only keeper league. Looks like the ground is shaking beneath him the last week. Avoid Phillips as a trade target who could help next year? How likely is LA to add a big piece at the backend?
Brent Hershey
12:59
If the trade price is depressed due to the past week, I'm interested. Proven guys go through rough stretches -- remember a couple years ago when we all were sure Josh Hader was finished? Not equating stuff ... but just the framework of not tagging a guy finished. So yes, I think he could gain some saves next year.
But also would think how they operate, that the Dodgers are likely to add someone in that bullpen. No idea if that's a "big" piece or just a nugget.

One quick question:  What is your best ETA for Jackson Jobe?  Skipping AAA to call him up seems unlikely, but I hear he's freakishly good.  Thank you,
Brent Hershey

In that late August-early Sep window where he can come in, get 4-6 starts under his belt, and not extinguish his rookie eligibility. Prime him up for making the squad in 2025 and making a run at Rookie of the Year and the extra draft picks that come with it.

Hi Brent, 10 team 5x5 standard league.  I have Glasnow and Kershaw coming off the IL and need to drop 2 to clear space.  I have no hitter depth, so I am looking at dropping dropping 2 of these guys:  T. Bradley, J. Springs (IL), Nick Lodolo and M. Meyer.  I'm thinking Meyer b/c he is the most speculative, and maybe Springs, but Lodolo has been struggling.
Brent Hershey
1:03
Meyer for sure. If you have any chance of waiting to activate Kershaw, I'd hold off on that decision. Not a crazy thought that Springs could out-pitch Kershaw ROS, for instance. Would not consider dropping Bradley

OK, trying to bang out these last few ...

Hey Brent; Robbie Ray coming back and about to deal for Senga in my 12 team 6x6 ops holds roto league- in terms of who to drop how would you rank the following ROS; Rodon, Berrios, Woo, Bello? Thank you
Brent Hershey
1:04
Best (don't drop) to worst (drop candidates):
Woo, Rodon, Bello, Berrios

Mackenzie Gore has great stuff but his command/control is a mess right now. Combined with a brutal BABIP that is probably part bad luck and part bad defense, his WHIP is pretty awful. Stick with him in a 12-team mixed league and hope for a turnaround, or time to cut bait? Best available SPs include Civale, Mikolas, Kremer, Yariel Rodriguez, Birdsong.
Brent Hershey

Have to consider cutting in a 12; but not in love with these options. Maybe Birdsong ... but lack of track record is risky. Same for Yariel.

Hi Brent. After a tremendous first half out of nowhere, Brice Turang has cooled off a whole lot. Breakout was mostly supported yet the last month is more reminiscent of last season. With the Crew in the thick of it I wonder how much rope he has before he starts to lose his hold on the leadoff spot or even PT vL. Is he a good bet to bounce back or would you consider moving on to another base stealer like Xavier Edwards or Jacob Young?
Brent Hershey
1:06
Would hold on Turang if those are your other options. Edwards>Young for me, but Turang better than both ROS

What’s your opinion of this trade Judge NY ,Ramirez from Cleveland , Gausman  from Toronto for two minor Leaguers Teal from Boston and Mayo from Baltimore,American league only 5x5. thanks.btw if you were the commissioner, would you allow it?
Brent Hershey

Seems out of whack, yes. Like those minor leaguers but those are two top15 guys this year going the other way

Top contender in 12-tm, H2H, category. Want to drop 1 or 2 SPs to open slot for bench hitter streamer and a SP/RP for HD+S. Please rank (w any comments) R Lopez, Bobby Miller, G Stone, N Cortes, Pepiot (just on IL), R Olson (just on IL), H Brown, G Williams, Baz Kershaw (coming off IL). Thanks!
Brent Hershey

H Brown, Stone, Lopez, Pepiot the best. Olson/Cortes/Miller most likely to cut

Hey Brent,  12 Team H2H, looking for any SP depth.  Thoughts on Luis L. Ortiz Pit or Pallante STL or Junis, Ortiz has advantage with BPV
Brent Hershey

Ortiz, easily

Given the average BPV, Is Framber a buy-low or avoid trading for guy for the 2nd half?
Brent Hershey

Depends on your needs. Don't expect a huge 2H, but HOU coming on and track record a plus

Gavin Williams hasn't looked good so far, bad luck or is he possibly not recovered from injury?
Brent Hershey

Working his way back. Patience.

What is your assessment of the following for ROS:  J. Jobe and J. Caminero (saw he started at 2B last night in Durham)?
Brent Hershey

Caminero is closer; I'm interested as a stash

What is your take on the bullpens in KC, SEA (is this a committee and are Munoz and Stanek battling injuries?), and BOS (Jansen staying or going and implications)?  Thanks!
Brent Hershey

KC - a bit up in the air; not a huge rush to roster Harvey for me until I see it. SEA, BOS: these seem like Munoz/Jansen; little chance of a trade.

Alright, got to almost all of em. Next week: same time/channel, and we'll be hours from the Trade Deadline—so hopefully we'll have some fallout to discuss. Thanks all, catch ya next week!
