No

Hi Brent, 5x5 redraft. My question is the Houston outfield. When Tucker comes back, who loses playing time between McCormick, Meyers or both.
Brent Hershey
1:09
McCormick. Meyers' CF defense markedly better

Thanks for the chat, Brent. Holding three young arms with upside -- AJS Shawver, Ben Brown, and Christian Scott -- in a deep NL keeper league. Will any or all of these throw meaningful innings in 24? Especially disappointed to see Scott not stick now that Mets are supplying offense.
Brent Hershey

Scott <huuuuuge gap> Brown, SS would be my rank for 2024. Take the healthy guy every time.

Frustrated Jordan Walker owner, in year two of his contract. He is going to spend all his days in Memphis this year, isn't he?
Brent Hershey
1:11
No, he'll be back. Will need to improve though.

If Boston fades and moves Jansen, what are the odds he becomes the closer wherever he ends up?
Brent Hershey
1:12
Little to none. Think a contender gets him to pitch the 8th

Hi Brent, traditional NL 5x5. Two questions 1. Do you prefer for reliever - Chapman, walker or Cruz 2. Need second catcher - Phil catchers, az catchers, cubs catcher and sd catchers ( after injuries)- any favs ?
Brent Hershey
1:13
1) Chapman
2) like Amaya a bit and Marchan has surprised. Pass on the rest

Is it worth reading into Brett Baty’s current run in AAA and buying back in? He's hitting HR with a great slash line plus logging starts at 2b. I’m in a dynasty league and constantly searching for that 2b answer. Right now I’m stashing Walker and Torkelson and could use someone who’s actually hitting.

I'd buy in if it was cheap. Not holding forever, but this 2B exposure makes sense. Saw too many good things w/ the bat in the lower minors to give up

Who is someone we should grab right now in anticipation of their teams closer being traded (AL)? Luis Garcia? Shelby Miller? Erceg?
Brent Hershey
1:15
Any of the above. Maybe Justin Slaten?

Is Leody Tavares looking more like a 4th OF? He looked like he was making progress last year, and this year he's been a disappointment.
Brent Hershey

Yeah, kinda agree. Good depth piece on 15-teamers, tho

Would you rather have James Wood or Noelvi?

Wood

NL-only, 5x5 Dynasty.  I have a cheap Luis Ortiz (PIT-SP) but the results have been spotty.  Worth hanging on?
Brent Hershey
1:17
Prob not

Good day Brent. 5x5 AL only keeper league. Flip flopping between first and third place in our league. I've lost Bradish and Whitlock for the year and trying to find another relevant starter. I picked up Cannon last week and have Silseth on my reserve (IL). Which of these two is better for this year (to help me win it) and who's the better prospect for '25? Thanks.
Brent Hershey
1:17
Silseth for both
