Happy Friday, Ray.  Carpenter had a nice F&F writeup 2 weeks ago, but his numbers are in the tank.  C and D exit velocity scores over last 14/30 worry me.  Are you bullish ion him n a 12-teamer?

It's nice that we have those short-term QBaB ratings now, but we haven't studied them over those samples/don't know how much we should worry about variation there. I still like Carp a lot.... depends on your alternatives in a 12-tmr tho.

Our football cousin in terms of corporate relationships is The Huddle (www.thehuddle.com). Also a USAToday/Gannett property, remarkably similar history/background. I'm not a football guy, but they do good work.

I'm not sure you should worry about EV with speedsters... you want them beating out medium/soft hit GBs. That said, Durbin's value is in SB and he's not running that much. I'll take Meidroth.

How would you rank first basemen Manzardo, Schanuel, and France for ROS and would rankings be different long-term? With Manzardo's woes in the field, will he end up just being a DH?

Manzardo might be destined for DH, but I still really like the bat. Still, I think Schanuel's skill set is pretty undervalued... I'd take him ROS from this group. Maybe still spec on Manzardo unlocking the big power numbers longer-term.
