Carpenter for sure. That's a better replacement than most Judge owners will find.

Fringe roster questions for a standard 12 team roto; who are you adding to fill out my UT spot; N Marte / D Crews / Z Gelof / V Grissom
Ray Murphy
12:38
I'd go Gelof first here.

feels like Delauter isnt that much more valuable than replacement level in 12 teamers. Time to extract some needed SP depth out of him and play the wire?
Ray Murphy
12:39
That hot first week seems like a long time ago, right? Yes, I think it's fine to play the wire instead...

NL only, obp.  Adolis Garcia was dropped in my NL league.  Is he going to improve ROS?  inklings?
Ray Murphy

Answered above. I'm not optimistic.

NL only.  Pick up AAlvarez and drop RLopez/JTong.  Why not?
Ray Murphy
12:40
Eh, I think Alvarez is pretty low-ceiling. Not that interested.

NL only.  Should I pick up SManaea and drop Tong?  Is Tong due for a return?
Ray Murphy
12:40
Manaea might be figuring something out. I'd take that chance.

15 team mixed.  LTaveras or CKeith ROS?
Ray Murphy
12:41
Leody, I suppose. Keith's profile is just so empty right now.

My starting pitching needs help. I've had Thomas White stashed since March but he's on the minor-league IL. Which SPs (MiLB or injury returnees) care on your radar as potentially impact players arriving at some point *this* season?
Ray Murphy

Sorry, I'm not the right person to ask. Save this one for Brent on Monday.

Best bet in 5x5 OBP for the near term: Joc or Curtis Mead?
Ray Murphy
12:42
Oooh, two guys I'm really high on. We know what Joc can do when he gets rolling, and he's rolling now. I really think this Mead emergence is real. Joc can be an OBP monster for a few months though, so I'd choose him.

Any concerns about Sal Stewart? Still taking his walks but production has otherwise been way off his torrid start. Also has been showing more of a platoon split over the past couple months.
Ray Murphy

Well, he had nowhere to go but down after April. Contact rate and QBaB are holding up, though. This is just ebb and flow, I think he's fine.

OK, a rapid-fire 45 minutes and it appears I've wiped you all out. Have a great weekend, Brent will be here on Monday....
