The WHIP issues. At some point that comes back to bite him. I do think he has value and there is still room for improvement in a young pitcher, but the control is a concern

With the Mariners getting Ward from the O's, and Mountcastle seeming to have suffered a setback, does that cement CES as a permanent fixture in their lineup btw 3B/DH and maybe occasional 1B?  If so, is he startable in a 12 team league or still fringe?
