Mozeliak basically said the Cards aren’t in the market as either buyers/sellers this weekend.  When a GM days this:  is it true ?  Is it posturing and if so why ?  is it simply a signal to the fanbase to set expectations (my choice ) or something else ?

Why does Patrick Sandoval's change up play so well? It doesn't seem to have any of the crazy movement that the best change ups tend to have.

Changeups are more about deception than movement. In terms of raw pitch data, Cole Hamels didn't have an amazing looking changeup, but it sure performed amazingly.

Do you have any strong opinions in regard to leaning heavily on data/video to scout the upper levels of the minor leagues & power 5 college programs while prioritizing in-person looks for the lower levels of pro & amateur ball?

How much do front offices weigh bigtime tournament (ie NCAA supers/CWS) performances in the draft? Is "coming up in a big spot" something that really carries a good amount of weight? Or is there an inclination to pounce on a guy who had a quiet tournament who's stock might have dropped a touch?
