What do you think is a bigger problem for the game, tanking or the pace of play?

Tanking, but (and you might not like this part of the answer) I don't blame teams who do. It's a bit of a don't hate the player, hate the game situation. The rules need to change so that teams are not incentivized to do so, as they are now.

Is it reasonable to argue that Robert Hassell has the best hit tool in the minors? Do you see him ever developing enough power for 20hr?

I'm a big Hassell fan, and do think there's 20 HR power in there, but 'best hit tool in the minors' is a bit strong.

He's definitely changed some things mechanically and so far the results are promising. As they say on Love Island UK, it's early days.

Can Patino thrive as a starter at the mlb level with only 2 pitches? Do you see him focusing on developing a 3rd offering this offseason?

I think he can do well, especially on the Rays where 5 IP is often the expectation for starters.

Will the Astros attempt to bring back both Greinke and Verlander? If so what kind of contract will Greinke command and does Verlander take the QO?

I think Verlander should take a QO, but I'm not sure he'll get one. That's a close call. Greinke is hard to say as well. We just don't have enough info on how the GM operates.

Do you think changing the way draft order is assigned would be enough to stop tanking, or is a more general re-alignment of salaries toward younger players necessary?

I think one could argue both are necessary, along with a solution to service time issues.

Pretty much none. His K rate and OBP are going to hurt him FAR MORE than those comments.

Can Patrick Wisdom be a viable player with his extreme batting profile?  Z-Contact and K-Rates are alarming, but he doesn't chase badly and hits the ball very hard

I agree it's a very weird profile, but hitting balls hard is a very good thing. I think he's viable. Not a star, but viable. He'll certainly get a chance to prove it next year with that roster.
